surprise!

thought it would be nice to give an early christmas gift to this blog!! meet me and gordie’s baby fankid, arlen!

the 1st pic is just her as a wee baby, while the 2nd is just what her design would look like a bit older + in the galar gym challenge! (around maybe 10-12, the same age as the pokemon swsh rivals and protagonist(s)!)

as an older kid, she would probably want to be a rock-type gym leader (like her dad ;w;) due to hanging around shuckle a lot as a young child (shuckle’s probably the most babyproof pokemon out of me and gordie’s teams... ;;)

(also rbs are appreciated if u can :D!!)

in the gym challenge, her starter team would be her:

 shuckle (gordie’s shuckle technically, but given to her from him to protect her from any wild pokemon), 

roggenrola, 

and rockruff (caught by gordie for her when us three all visited the isle of armor)!

at the end of the gym challenge/when she becomes a gym leader, her team consists of:

shuckle 

gigalith

onix

solrock (only during rematches and the galarian star tournament)

and dusk-form lycanroc!

shuckle is normally out of his pokeball while arlen is searching long grass/wandering around, holding onto her like a backpack! when he has to be in his pokeball, arlen wears her bag that looks awfully like a shuckle to trick wild pokemon to think a pokemon is on her

she literally has pikachu cheeks and they are adorable!! she’s always had them, and they never change in cold or hot weather <3

i feel like if she were to be in the game, she would be born after the isle of armor and crown tundra arcs !

having two gym leaders as parents as well as a gym leader as a grandmother, you can expect she has quite the great battle style; its a mixture between my brutal and gordie’s graceful style, but she often tends to panic quite a bit during a battle about her pokemon’s moves,, she’ll always get reassured she’s doing great afterwards by me and gordie :3c!!

her jersey number if she was in the gym challenge would be ‘902′, meaning ‘quartz’.

her name stems from the rose ‘sweet arlene’ :DD
