#harper wears very minimal variations on a theme usually. caoimhe lives in cycling outfits of any sort pretty much#hell even just slap some random layers on phileas and you're set#but irving??? irving babygirl why must you be fashionable it makes things so much harder adfsfdghgfjg#i'm trying to work on a ref and on one hand i could just stick him in a simple but nice dress but that's boring and not very in character#on another hand i could draw his work outfit (shirtwaist and skirt. possibly a vest) but that is a uniform not his preferred style#and then third separate hand (shapeling arts) i could draw something fancy which would be nice but not as a ref i think rip#i want to draw fancy but logically i should go for the simple but nice option augh :-(#the scientist scribbles
