THE STONES OF VENICE LETS GOOO!

my fave this season for sure

the Stones of Venice was really cool! i was incredibly stressed throught because the story gripped me so tightly, and that is a great win in my book

these adventures seem to base the formula about having great stories and gripping plots, and some character moments throught, i can't wait for a more character focued episode and i hope that comes soon, but i do really adored the story this time, i think its my fave so far!!

as usual more spoilers under the cut

i really liked Charley standing up to the duke, i like the art creator and i really enjoyed the doctor this episode!! i have a bunch of fave quotes this time because he was just so interesting in this one

they have seem to again, separate Charley and the Doctor this episode, but this time it was with actual character motive as Charley wandered off on her own and i really liked that! if you are going to separate the companion and doctor have it because one of them following their interest! i liked the interest Charley took in the gondolier and i liked how she wanted to help!

the sequence of them hypnotizing her really surprised me lol like holy shit

the character as usual were very strong, to the point where i really liked most of them!

the thing i really didn't connect with that much was the ending and how the gondolier's resolution feels like it was put aside for focusing on the Duke and his wife, but the doctor driving a gondola was really sweet

Charley seems to finally reach the best friend place! cool for Charley! it feels like it suted her

fave quotes timeee:

he is too earnest and sweet for bluffing so far lol, i love how he is examining himself still

"in the end the people locking you up prefer it if they can chace after you, they love it, it provides an excuse to come and ruff you up a little bit"

i love this doctor i love this boy so much, the way he just finds the fun and feels the need t freaking explain how everything fits together and is actually fun to other people running for their lives my beloved

lol also the musical reference, i knew that this doctor is a musical fan!! you can't tell me that this doctor, from what i've seen so far, doesn't listen to Matilda and Phantom all the time

this doctor seems to say his speaches after the fact, after the day is saved, sort of putting a cap at it, and i like that, he opirates on stright up vibes so far lol

also the hints of Charley going against the doc!!! love that

at the end, this was my fave episode so far, ending it in a nice way and i had the most fun with the plot
