Too Much Sometimes (Pt. 1?)

It was a warm sunny morning, after the toxic rainfall the other night, corroding the roof of the Resistances’ hideout.

But that didn’t matter; the temperature of the air was last concern of Patrick, the mutant bat boy, who was carrying one of his teammates in his arms protectively.

His teammate, (and secret crush) Karai, was now limp in his arms loosing blood. He dashed over rubble and jumped over hills, making sure to apply pressure to the gaping wound in her arm. He used his wings to help glide and push himself forward.

What he failed to notice was that a mutant silverfish had bit into his leg as well, almost ripping it off completely; Patrick was unaware he was leaving a crimson trial of pure sent behind him and straight into the headquarters of the Resistance members.

He huffed, feeling lightheaded and dizzy, but he had a prime objective and he had to fulfill that mission.

“Ugh,” Patrick huffed sympathetically, “I knew we shouldn’t have snuck out.”

The previous night, during the rain, the duo had broke out of the iron grip Master Donatello had on the whereabouts of almost every member in their small clan.

Ever since the Scavengers had joined alliances with the Resistance, the purple clad turtle had been obsessively and myopically checking on his children. Now, usually this didn’t bother Karai, but now she was a teen, she felt kind of embarrassed of her father checking in on her and her ‘boyfriend’.

Patrick stopped fighting the title after about a week. After all, he thought she was pretty cute. For a Resistance member, of course!

Master Leonardo and Master Donatello would constantly fight over the name, with Leonardo encouraging them, and Donatello being less then fond of the dub.

Soon enough, Patrick had arrived back at the headquarters, literally kicking in the door and huffing hardily. He clutched his friend close and yelled for Karai’s mother, Tamsin.

Running out of the corridor of the log hallway that led to separate rooms, Tasmin came running out rubbing her eyes, before having her arms drop to cover her mouth from a gasp before dashing to collect her daughter.

Soon, Master Donatello and Leonardo, along with Master Raphael, came and joined them as they carried Karai away. Then after Karai was lifted from his arms, he collapsed onto the floor only to be caught by strong arms.

“You good, lil buddy?” Master Raphael asked, looking at him with an concerned eye, before his gaze followed down his body to his bleeding calf.

“Oh, damn,” Leonardo said, as Raph picked Patrick up, careful not to injure his leg even more. “That’s....pretty bad.”

At this point, Patrick was already fazing in and out of consciousness, making every noise around the bat mutant fuzzy.

Raph stared at the poor boy again, saying something, only to have Patrick stare back at the snapping turtle with the most ‘what the hell did you just say’ face Raph had ever seen.

Leonardo joined Raph in his jolt to the med bay with Master Donatello and Tasmin in front of them.

Coming back into consciousness, he jolted up with a puffed collar of fur and the sudden retaliation he was no longer at the Scavengers’ pathetic and wimpy excuse of a Med Bay.

“I gotta get used to that,” Patrick sighed, rubbing his temples. 

He soon saw the sleeping body of his mentor next to his flattened rubble bed, Baron Draxum nowhere to be seen, which was better for Patrick’s mental heath, but not so much his physical health.

“Master Mulch,” Patrick mumbled, “Wake up,” he said, poking the old Vulture awake.

“Hmm?” Mulch hummed, “Oh, good afternoon, Batty.” The vulture said smugly, “Maybe if you and your little turtle didn’t sneak off last night you would have woken up earlier.”

This soured the already bad mood of the poor boy; bedridden and now insulted. How could this day get any worse?

Suddenly, the alarms blared and the lights flashed. Mulch jumped up and grabbed his sickles and running to the place of emergency.

Batty just HAD to ask, didn’t he?

Patrick couldn’t focus, he didn’t know what was happening. 

He was 7 years old again. His older sister was on the front lines against the Krang again. It was all his fault. If only he hadn’t get in the way. But the stupid lights had got in his eyes!

Those lights...

THOSE STUPID LIGHTS.

He didn’t even notice himself cover his ears, and started crying. Trying desperately to try and somehow reverse the flow of the tears. He didn’t want this!

“STOP! PLEASE, JUST BE QUITE!” He screamed to nothing, trying to make the memory go away by shaking his head. His wings flapped and his nose twitched.

“That was some false alarm, wasn’t it?” Cosmo the nekomata commented to Karai as the turtle put her Bo staff away, and walking into the Med Bay.

“Yeah, tell me about it it had the entire base on their toes! Good thing we know we’re prepared in case a Krang does decide to break...in?” Karai mumbled the last sentence as she rushed to the source of the screaming from down the hallway.

“QUITE, QUITE!!” Batty yelled as the lights and the sirens still blared in the Med Bay; Master Donatello had installed separate lights and speakers in each big facility room in case they had an bacterial outbreak. At least that was his reasoning.

“Yo, is that dude okay?” Cosmo asked as they looked over, noticing Karai was already gone. “Ay, her and her crazy boyfriend...”

Karai had ran over to Batty and removed his shaking hands to place a device into his ears, making the world around him go quite. Batty was being hugged and, honestly, clutched by the light purple turtle.

She was stroking his matted fur, Patrick shuttered at this sudden show of affection. His hair was something that everyone knew not to touch, but in this moment he didn’t feel like hissing away the touch. He embraced his friend back hesitantly and rested his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes.

The lights and sounds went off, but the couple stayed close together. Donatello had almost marched over and scolded them, but Cosmo had stopped the angry father.

Then, without warning, Patrick started purring.

“Are...?” Karai asked, loosing her grip on the poor boy slightly to let out a light laugh, “Are you purring right now?”

Batty puffed up his fur collar, “No!” he blushed, pulling away and crossing his arms, leaning his weight back into the uneven and bumpy bed. His leg was still levitated, and Karai shifted to sit at the edge of the makeshift bed.

“Well,” the spiny soft shell said snarkily, “Since you’re all better, I guess I can leave.~” She teased.

“No! Wait” Batty called, “I-.....I would like if...you stayed a little longer...” he mumbled.

“Oh? Oh, what was that? I couldn’t hear you.~” She blinked innocently, her heart fluttering in her chest.

“I. WANT YOU. TO STAY. WITH. ME.” Patrick said segmented, the redness absolutely consuming his face at this point.

“Great!” Karai said sweetly as she bunny hopped back to him, cuddling into his side.

“You just sacrificed your dignity for this.” Karai purred proudly, “Was it worth it?”

“Absolutely.” Batty purred, resting his head on hers.

Donatello and Cosmo watched from a distance, taking in the scene.

“So,” Cosmo asked, “Are they, like, official now?”

“Doesn’t matter, but Karai is no longer training with Nardo.” Donatello huffed, walking over to break up the sweet scene with his own two sense.

she's gorgeous, she's powerful, she's cunning, she's smart, she's doting, do i need to say more? also her voice is so soothing and so nice to listen to honestly (fun fact: shinbou's jp va also voices ayaka so sometimes i will log onto genshin just to sit and listen to all of ayaka's jp voice lines) i also really love shinbou's hair and how graceful she is as compared to some of the other demon slayers. she's so unique because instead of just brute force, she uses poison and agility to slay demons which is so cool?????? in conclusion, i am in love, your honor.

2. maki zenin from jujutsu kaisen

tall, pretty, powerful, has glasses, strong, very much my type. the moment i saw maki when i was watching jjk, my heart actually skipped a beat. she's just so AJHFGKL in the best way possible. i love how she can be serious but also playful/friendly with the others. she's incredibly strong and powerful for someone who doesn't have powerful cursed energy. she's so versatile with her weapons and the way she wields them has me swooning uGH. in that one scene where she catches a bullet with her bare hands i paused the episode and straight up just screamed so loudly because gODDAMN THAT"S HOT LKASFJH:LKSF

TALL, SMART, PRETTY, STRONG, AGAIN VERY MUCH MY TYPE LMAO i am absolutely in LOVE with miss momo yaoyorozu. she's incredibly smart and absolutely knows it. i love the way she's able to incorporate her quick thinking and intelligence with her creation quirk. ngl i stopped watching bnha at the 2nd season but i'd consider starting it again just to watch her <333 i would 12/10 love to have study dates with her tbh, i feel like having someone like momo would give me motivation to study more and actually be more productive. she's also so caring and gentle but won't hesitate to tell you things bluntly. overall, i think momo's personality is an accurate example of what my type is.

oh my god, maru has such a special place in my heart because she builds robots and other cool inventions, and i did robotics in high school. she's also just so cute and sweet and just a lil bit shy which is so endearing waaaahhhh i just love her smile and how happy she gets when you gift her her favorite items. she also loves stargazing and has a telescope which is so cool and i would love to have her teach me about the stars akjfghjkl

I'd just stripped down and I was about to step into the shower when it happened. I felt something creeping ever so slowly up my bare legs and when I looked down and I saw that eight legged, jillion eyed fucker looking up at me with those jillion buggy eyes, I cringed and I screamed, it was a scream that rivaled the scream of top horror movie scream queens but I didn't fucking care at the time.

The panic was taking over and I was shaking and trying to flick the spider off my body, throughly grossed out and knowing that now, thanks to this, I'd feel the fucking creepy crawl all over my skin all damn day. I didn't stop to think about how my scream might actually sound like the sound of me being butchered just down the hall from where my room mates slept, or that said room mates had gotten in on a very late flight the night before, nope.. All I thought about was how this spider was crawling up my body like a giant spider stripper pole.

But the sound of footsteps just as I'd ran out of the bathroom, after flicking the spider into a nether used corner of the bathroom clued me into the fact that no, I was not alone in the apartment and yes, I'd just been the annoying kind of room mate that awakened my sleeping room mates Baron and Corey, a color commentator and a pro wrestler from some wrestling company.

I turned to find myself body to mostly nude body against Baron's muscular frame and all I could manage to get out was that there was a spider. In fact, I must have repeated the word eight damn times and I was shaking so bad, I had to look like a spazz to the guy. He was chuckling, giving me this slightly irritated but amused look.

Wordlessly, he side stepped me and stepped into the bathroom, emerging a few minutes later with a magazine, the corpse of the spider sitting neatly on top. He flashed me this look and bit his lip, muttering something under his breath as he stalked down the hallway and into the kitchen, turning on the garbage disposal. I could hear him laughing his ass off in the kitchen and I scowled, flipping the kitchen the middle finger while grumbling.

I am utterly confused by the guy. In the four months he and Corey have been my room mates, he's said maybe four words to me in passing yet he's always just kind of… Watching me? Would that be the way to describe it?

I'll go with that.. He hardly speaks to me, he acts like I am more of an annoyance than anything and yet, he's always watching me when he thinks I'm not aware of it.. Of the two who woke up, I'd personally figured, -- or I'd hoped, it would be Corey, who I've actually gotten to be pretty good friends with. I never once considered that Baron would be the one waking up to my screams. I definitely never thought he'd actually come in and see if I was okay or if I were being murdered, or what.. I mean I’m at least pretty sure that Baron only tolerates me.

We were standing in the hallway and Baron was edging closer to me, his eyes flickered down to my arms, folded over my bare chest. "Get some clothes on."

I bit my lip and stared up at him, my mouth opening and closing, torn between a smart remark and being apologetic, feeling like a teenage girl who'd just got caught going past first base with her boyfriend by her father. I'm not sure why I felt that way, but I did.. And I felt this heat, this almost static tension in the air between Baron and I, it always seems to linger whenever we have to be in a room together for more than ten seconds. But it really hit me now just how common that tension was.

"Clothes. Now.. Before Corey wakes up and sees you standin around in panties." Baron's voice was filled with tension but it was deeper and almost a throaty growl as he snapped the words at me. I eyed him, a brow raised but not moving an inch. { It's kinda hot, the way he's getting all territorial. Confusing, but hot.}

"And it's any different than you seeing me like this to kill the  spider?" I asked finally, confused. The squeaking of Corey's bedroom door as it opened prompted Baron to take matters into his own hands, lifting me up and stepping into the bathroom with me, banging the door shut. And then his eyes were on me, his tongue slowly gliding over his lips as he struggled with whatever it was that he was having trouble expressing.

"It just is."

"Excuse? No, Baron, it is not." I argued and I found myself pressed right against him when I stepped up again. His arms slid around my waist and he let this low growl escape his throat as he fixed his eyes down on my lips, licking and biting his own.  "I wouldn't play with fire if I were you." he warned, gripping my hips and pressing me even closer to him before adding, " I see the way he's always flirting with you."

I moaned and nipped at his lip, molding against him. "What the hell?" I gasped the words as the kiss broke, more than a little shocked and definitely surprised, in a good way. He held my gaze steadily and chuckled.

"I.Want.You. And every single time Corey flirts with you, it drives me crazy. Especially when you flirt back with him." Baron's eyes were trailing ever so slowly over my body as he swallowed hard.  "You scared the livin hell out of me when you screamed." he muttered darkly, his hands moving over my curves, gripping my hips as I wrapped my legs around his waist.

" I'm not flirting back with him." I assured Baron as I leaned against him, looking up and giving a smug smirk. "You were worried about little ol me? Awww.. There is a sweetheart in there, somewhere. I knew it. I freaking knew it." and Baron scoffed, smoothing his hands over my hair as his lips brushed my forehead. "If you're not flirtin with him, why do you always stop talkin when I walk into the room?"

"Because.. He kinda knows about my huge fucking crush on you.. And I didn't want you to overhear because you'd laugh your ass off.. Or I thought you would?" I bit my lip, looking up at him.  " I kinda thought you hated me until tonight." I admitted quietly.

He eyed me, obviously puzzled and then it sank in for him. "I didn't know what to do with the way you make me feel? I definitely don't hate ya." he mumbled as his lips found mine again and he pulled me closer, making me suck in a harsh breath as we rubbed against each other and the friction added to the ache in my thighs and I could literally feel the wetness as it slicked the inside of them. I  gripped his hips with my legs and the kiss deepened.

"One little spider though? I fucking thought someone broke in the house and they were hurting you." he chuckled against my lip and I nipped at his in a playful and kind of rough way, grumbling against his lips, "Asshole.. You were being so sweet too."

"Aw, c'mon. It was cute.. Loud as hell but cute. And over a spider, no bigger than my fingertip, really?"

From behind us, we both heard Corey speak up. "Fucking finally. I was gonna lock you two in the bedroom together, but hey, kudos to the spider." he muttered, smirking as he looked from me to Baron and then turned, walking into the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water and going back to his bedroom, door banging shut behind him.
