- Kang Y/N is apart of the fencing team, known to be one of the strongest opponents to face she has a pretty high reputation. Known to be silent and more kept to herself, not a lot of people know about her. Which is why Kim Hongjoong is determined to get her out of her shell and interview her one day for the school newspaper and radio. One problem is he has a MASSIVE crush on her and has no control of his words around her, so he joins the fencing team himself to get closer to Y/N having no information on fencing prior.

Author POV:-

It was 11pm already and you were still at your regular night cafe that was near the KQ Entertainment building.

You were finishing up with your school project on the history of Spain.

ATEEZ was having a night practice that day and thought of getting a drink to refresh before going to their dorms to sleep.

They entered the cafe which caused the bell hanged on the door to ring, that just in a way broke ur focus, cause u were stressed from it. It caused you to groan in frustration.

That groan caught boys attention. They were like what this kid is doing here at this hour. They felt that u were kinda tiny and cute and they compared you to yeosang earning a shy and embarrassed laugh from him.

They pointed u out to Jongho and man, he was mesmerized by that beauty of urs. U had a hairstyle similar to that StrayKids Hyunjin had in the My Pace era.

Jongho POV:-

Once I saw him, I wondered that if there was anyone else cuter and handsome that he is. Him wearing a white oversized hoodie with a black skinny jeans gave me kinda cute feels specially when I noticed his hand while he took a sip of his coffee. The sweater paws he got. I felt soft for him.

Hongjoong hyung got me out of my dreams.

HJ:- "jongho? Jongho? Jongho-ya?"

JH:- "huh? What is it hyung?"

SH:- "You were staring at him for quite a while. You sure, that you haven't fallen in love with him?" Seonghwa said teasingly.

JH:- "Naah!!!! He just looks kinda looks like Yeosang hyung. He looks tiny and cute." This earned him a playful punch from the older.

Y/n POV:-

I just looked up from my laptop to the 8 boys staring at me. But one of them caught my attention. I immediately realised that he's jongho with the rest of the ATEEZ members.

I didn't approach them, just to appreciate their personal space. But I saw Jongho hyung staring at me. I looked at him too and we made an eye contact which was broken by Hongjoong hyung. I felt the heat creeping up to my face. I cleared my throat and started typing on my laptop again. Within 10 mins I was done with the project and excitedly and absent-mindedly I yelled "FINALLY DONE." Then I realised that I wasn't at my dorm and saw the 8 boys giggling at me. The barista came and told me that they were asking if I could go over to their table for a moment.

I agreed. Like who will deny ATEEZ. I packed up and hung my bagpack over my one shoulder and went to their table. They gave me a note which seemed more of a letter to the KQ staff.

I looked at them confused. They asked me if I could come and meet them at their practice room the next day.

"staff won't let me in with this note, cause they will think that it's fake even if u have signed it and have written your phone number on it." I said.

SH:- "Smart. I told them the same thing."

YS:- "You can call the number above and then the staff will let u in. But for that we need to know ur name."

Y/n:- "Ohh yeah. I'm y/n. Y/n y/s/n." Plus how can I belive that you guys are not joking or playing around with me?"

MG:- "This number is one of the members. If u don't trust us, then dial the number and check for yourself."

I dialed the number. It rang and I saw Yunho holding up his phone to show the caller ID.

YH:- "Is this yours?" I nodded.

WY:- "Call us when u are near our company building. We'll tell the staff to let u in."

Y/n:- "Fine. So, if you guys don't mind can I take my leave? I have a morning class tomorrow."

HJ:- "But don't forget to come sweetie. We'll be waiting for you." I blushed at his words and heard everybody mumble "cute."

The next day

Authour's POV:-

You were finally done with your classes and it was almost lunch time. You then suddenly remembered that you had to go to KQ to meet the boys. You had saved Yunho's number.

You dialed his number but he didn't pick up. U just sighed and started to exit the class while ur phone started vibrating, Yunho's caller ID on display. You picked it up and heard his breathless voice.

Y/n:- "Are you guys practicing?"

YH:- "Hmm.... Why did you ask? You wanna come over?"

Y/n:- "I was thinking of doing so, but seems like you all are busy, so maybe some other time."

YH:- "No. It's alright. You come over. It won't be any issue we are going to be done soon anyways."

Y/n:- "Fine then. I'm coming over."

YH:- "see you at the practice room. You can ask the staff where the ATEEZ practice room is. They'll guide u, or u want me to pick u up from the entrance?"

Y/n:- "no it's alright. I'll come on my own. No need to pick me up. I'll be there soon."

YH:- "okayyss. Bye."

At the ATEEZ practice room

Author's POV:-

YH:- "Guys!!!! Y/n is coming over."

HJ:- "Don't be kidding. He said he had morning classes today."

WY:- "Hyung it's already noon."

HJ:- "okay."

San:- "But...where's Jongho?"

MG:- "There he is. Where did u go kiddo?"

JH:- "Dorms. I don't wanna smell like shit when he comes over."

YH:- "U alright? I've never seen u doing this. U literally never give a shit about how u smell around others."

Jongho blushed and said "I don't know." Making members laugh.

Y/n POV:-

I arrived at the company building and the staff stopped me and asked for my ID. I dialed Yunho's number and then the staff let me in. I asked the other staffs for the way to the ATEEZ practice room and bumped into one of their fellaz yechan. He dropped me off to the practice room.

I knocked on the door and heard a lot of tired "come in". Once I entered the room I could smell sweat but there was this one scent that was coming from somewhere.

I unconsciously went towards that smell and found myself standing right in front of Jongho.

End of y/n POV.

Jongho POV:-

I saw y/n coming in and my heart started racing faster than those racing cars. I noticed him coming directly towards me and then he just stood there and then I heard him say, "u smell nice."

Once he said that, he covered his face in embarrassment and blushed making me soft for him. I just started taking steps towards him and he started backing but then bumped against the wall.

I trapped him between my arms and leaned down to his ear and said "just for you."

End of Jongho POV.

Author's POV:-

Jongho's and y/n's happy moment was disturbed by the coughs of the members.

MG:- "Ewww.... We are still here."

SH:- "U remember hon? I did the same to you before we started dating."

HJ blushed hard at his words and punched his arm timidly.

HJ:- "Nice way of flirting Jongho."

Then this turned into a teasing match and everyone's love life was revealed one by one.
