personally i'm somewhere in the middle. i wouldn't say i'm stressed about it, but i am interested. like on some level i am invested in taylor as a person as well as as an artist (which i'm not really ashamed to admit or going to act like i'm not or anything because i'm. on swiftie tumblr lmao) but it doesn't make me want to be invasive or look too hard at things she doesn't want the general public looking at, and it doesn't keep me up at night. with this, as an example, i do care about whether or not travis is going to argentina, but i wouldn't be upset either way (and this goes for most if not all of her personal life decisions). i care because i'm curious about it as someone who has spent a lot of my life being a fan of taylor swift, but i'm not losing sleep over it or debating the logistics with other swifties. it's just something where i'm like "i wonder if that's happening, let's see if any news has come out about it. oh it hasn't. ok cool i'll wait and see then." all this to say i do think it's possible to have an interest in what's going on with taylor beyond the music without being invasive, creepy, overinvested, or start fights and drama about it. i think that some people don't really care at all (also a valid way to be fan imo), some people care too much, and there's varying degrees of that in between and not all of it is unhealthy. (and i know that you were talking about the specific subset of the fandom that cares too much, not debating that for sure. just offering my perspective as someone who isn't really on either side of the extremes).

it's funny because i'm probably slightly more on the "don't care" side than you but i still more or less agree with how you feel about it. like, i like taylor as a human and root for her happiness and also know it'd be cool for travis to support her. but the asks some of my mutuals are getting are just silly. we will know shortly!
