eleven by ive really makes me wish i had paid more attention when we learned about modes in music theory class bc i’m really lost </3
#whenever i can't make sense of a melody or chord progression there's usually smth going on with the modes#i bet it's phrygian or dorian or smth like that#or maybe something completely different but it's definitely not a regular major or minor scale#i don't like it when i can't decypher a chord progression! i want to understand let me in!!!!#people who say pop can't be musically complex have no idea what they're talking about 😪#io.txt
