So... I finally started playing Disco Elysium
#vu's posts#technically i started playing it months ago omg. like... 7 or 8 months ago? idk#i kept hearing about it in a like. leftist gaming group i'm in on fb. so i was like 'hm. let's research this'#the trailer made me think it was a third person shooter or something which was a big nope for me lmaoooo#but i kept hearing more and more good stuff about it and was like '...my brother has it on pc. i'll try it out myself'#i tried it out for a good hour and a half or so. i was hella weirded out by it but so fascinated that i was like 'i gotta buy this'#fast forward to. a week and a half ago. i've had the game sitting on my ps4 screen for like a month now and i still haven't touched it#(i bought it on sale btw. if that matters)#i was like 'alright fuck it. i keep telling myself to start this up again so let's do that'#and i did.. and immediately got pulled into the world omg#this is probably my new hyperfixation if i'm gonna be honest lmaoooo#figuring out the gameplay mechanics has been kinda tricky but also fun. learning about the lore too#also i'm not far into it yet so maybe i shouldn't be thinking up headcanons. but i think that kim might be autistic#i don't think i'm reaching here because i said this to a friend who's hella into de and they were like 'oh yeah i see it tbh'#but yeah#va4 rambles in the tags
