Some more @fell-star-if depicting a marble statue of my Harbinger Thuban. I based the image on an irl marble statue "L'ange du mal" by Joseph Geefs because of it's interesting history.
I imagine over the centuries after the defeat of the Harbinger of Calamity their would be many depictions of her. Most of them would traditionally picture her looking more beastly and monstrous, usually when artists depicted her defeat by Asol similar to irl art and iconography of St. George slaying a dragon. Yet over time that depiction changes and images of the Harbinger appear more humanized, especially in areas where her cult had more influence, and when the theory of Asol and the Harbinger were secretly lovers became more popular.
I could easily imagine a situation similar to what happened to the sculptor Geefs and his statue of Lucifer, where one of the temples of the Order of Soladnit commission an artist to create a statue of the Harbinger of Calamity to show off their triumph over evil. Only the artist made their marble sculpture of Thuban too sexy and the temple had to reject the commission.
Soladnit priest: I'm sorry but the temple cannot accept this sculpture. You can still keep the payment for your services.
Sculptor: What but why?! Don't get me wrong I'm glad I can keep my commission but I put so much effort into this (gestures frantically at marble statue of Thuban)
Soladnit priest: this is not meant to be an insult to your skills. Even Elder Asol complemented the sublime workmanship, but it's a distraction to our worshippers! You've turned a piece of marble into something so beautiful it leads to temptation and impure thoughts!
Oh well at least the Harbinger's cult can appreciate and use it instead.
