I didn't realise bbc's rugby union weekly did a whole podcast episode about Owen's 100th cap, it's a very good episode. It's very interesting to me.

Particularly in the reiteration (from Danny Care) that players are surprised that they get along so well with him off the pitch because they've come into the team having only ever played against him and hearing him barking orders at the team.

And Danny Care saying that Owen can't be dropped because of who he is, because of the way he sees the game.

One interesting point was when Danny was talking about how when they go into unit meetings, coaches will often turn to Owen at the end of the meeting and ask him if he agrees with it or if they covered everything and Owen gives them "the nod" or he'll tell them that he disagrees. Danny said he doesn't know of any other player that he's played with that gets that same treatment, the same amount of respect.
