combed thru archive.org scans of lego magazine to find the first instance of bionicle i ever saw. I remember when this dropped i was utterly transfixed but also completely clueless that you could order this by mail. I just waited for it to appear in stores but i couldn't stop looking at it and thinking abt it (at least that's what i remember)
