i say this with all the kindness in my heart: the fact that "white" is in your about makes you sound kind of like a white supremacist. i know you don't mean it that way and you're probably a great guy, but to me as a person of color, it really comes across as really odd and off-putting. you really don't have to say that.

i dont know how to tell you that you are the minority in thinking this, i have my race in my bio specifically because poc have expressed to me personally & tumblr more broadly that it's good to know who is and isn't a member of their community
