When he plays the cello it is breathtaking. Bathed in the multicolor glow of an intricate stained glass window looking like a porcelain doll as a sickly sweet ballad of misery sweeps through the room. He knows fully well that he has laid a trap his opponent and partner cannot resist, both men know it, and yet the beautiful creature dubbed a "demon" by the tainted sinners of the world walks right in. He welcomes the bite of the metal teeth that close around his legs, and still comes to gaze at the cellist like he hung the stars.
Neither speaks until the musical piece is finished.
"My sister plays the cello," Osamu finally says, looking like a man ruined. Fyodor thinks it is a blessing to have such a saintly being look so utterly wrecked by his playing, yet he still reaches a hand out to cup the cheek of the man kneeling at his feet. And Osamu does not flinch away but instead he leans into the touch, his soft breath sending feather light sensations across his exposed skin.
"And yet you always look as if you are experiencing its beauty for the first time," he responds, watching the other nearly shake apart at his voice.
"How can a demon not fall in love all over again when he witnesses something divine?" Osamu counters matter-of-factly, as if he's saying the sky is blue. He says it with such assured confidence that Fyodor finds his breath being stolen this time, and is once again gently reminded that they are both sinners worshiping their idea of the divine. Thus, as a sinner, he cannot resist leaning in to steal a tender kiss. When they pull away Fyodor realizes his mistake as he tastes the syrupy sweet poison he has just been dosed with.
"Did you really think you'd get me with a poisoned kiss?" he asks.
"Why, whatever do you mean? I simply made some of your favorite raspberry tea."
Fyodors reaction is immediate, unable to stop a grin splitting open his face. He reaches down and releases the iron that is biting into his partners leg
