im gonna cry about mipha a little bit because as mad as i've been about the treatment of the champions in totk at least mipha managed to leave somewhat of a legacy. i mean the zoras moving her statue from being the centerpiece of the domain to their backyard still leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth but mipha's death having an impact on sidon and giving him a fear of losing anybody else that he loves is what i wanted (not the trauma thing sjhsbsjhse, just their deaths having an impact). i'm glad at least one champion got to leave something behind.

#bwark #totk lb #though it just makes yunobo's case all the more confusing to me #i'm assuming that his case is similar to riju's where he's a descendant but never met daruk to form any sort of personal bond #but like. why does he not use daruk's protection anymore? riju uses her own style of urbosa's lightning which is fine #but yunobo's ability is literally slamming into rocks. he could've still used it. they didn't even have to draw attention to it #like just make it so that he activates it when he smashes into stuff but it doesn't have to be name dropped if they're so averse to it #like just having it there to see and not serve any other purpose would've been SOMETHING #sorry i know i keep talking about the lack of legacy for the champions but aside from mipha and zelda's picture in her house and riju #mentioning urbosa in her diary it's just really sad for me #like even being able to get their unique weapons doesn't feel the special because totk implies that they're mass produced now
