i'm so tired of the common fandom perception of wu xie that it's actively demotivating 😞

it's not even about "what age should wu xie look like", it's that everywhere i look on wb/lof i see this bubbly bright eyed college student and i don't know who that's supposed to be half the time, that's not the guy i've been reading about in any book written in the last 10 years at least
