double show! And thoughts...on "insufferable fans"
it must be exhausting performing one show a day, but 2? In another city. That's gotta be hard on the body and vocal chords. Nice to see that she's taking the time to relax and decompress. 😊😊 hope she's taking care of her voice too. 😊 that's a lot of singing and dancing!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sidenote: I can't believe how ridiculous and rude people are just bc he got a GF. They're actually celebrating his premiere not having many in attendance. They're mocking his social anxiety and have created elaborate irrational theories that he was being inappropriate, or there's tension with a co-star. To me it looked like stage position confusion and just being excited, nervous, and goofy bouncing around. Why even imagine things you just don't know, in an ALWAYS negative way? Or try to see negative things everywhere? Or Create elaborate irrational theories about his friends who all like his GF and why they like/follow her.
There's a difference between regular speculation, like "why did he wear that?" "What movie is he filming, who is he dating etc and harmful speculation, like calling him racist bc people don't see him with non-white friends very often or calling him a creeper bc he took a pic of his GF.
They even say "we all know Alex" has a thing for women with boyfriends. Like where did they reach into their imagination for this knowledge? Lol 😂😂😂😂 there's literally nothing like that at all out there information wise. That we as complete OUTSIDERS would know about based on the limited things we see? Not just someone's imaginings. I mean really attacking his reputation to make him seem bad? Why? Do you think if you spout enough lies about them both their fans will all disappear, his career will vanish, and he'll have learned his lesson? And she will disappear completely into thin air or hide. Even suggesting she'd self harm if they broke up. What lesson do you want him to learn? That he shouldn't have a GF? To not be HAPPY? You want to lie about him (and GF), and call him spineless, creepy, racist, stupid to hurt him socially and professionally? Online stuff can actually hurt his career. And again, I'm inclined to believe them when they say friends first and then lovers.
Seriously there's little doubt in my mind why he liked the comment about "insufferable fans".
Lol his GF can't even post a mild pic relaxing before 2 shows (a partial leg and foot does not a naked picture make unless we are in the Victorian era, and legs on chairs are covered up bc it's lewd) without being accused of a variety of things.
If she really wanted attention she'd do what most people do throw on a bikini and pose endlessly. Do any of these haters look at accounts not related to him? She doesn't even post that much outside of work, selfies/pics with BF every now and again but who doesn't? I do. A few times a week. Lol. A lot of people do. Most actresses do. Even actors do the same. Why is it "bad" only when she does it? Why was it cool for Malte's GF to do a bathtub photo, but not Johanne? Why is there a difference? BC she's moving in with her BF Alex Hogh Andersen. And she's an actress on tv and a huge musical, so it's not like it's not normal for her to post what she does. They have public profiles to maintain in today's world. I'm sure some of it is for fun bc it's her life and she can post what she wants. And to Anyone that wants to show off their body: Go for it! It's your body. Be proud of your body! That's great for those with body confidence. 😊 If she posts him they say she wants attention, even if it's his big night. Technically it's her night too, but she didn't mention that in her post dedicated to him. 😊 If she didn't post him at all they'd say she was mad at the attention being taken from her, or she only posts him if she is there bc she only wants a spotlight on her. They'd say she was unsupportive, selfish and etc. Or she's obsessed bc she posts pics of her own boyfriend and sometimes wears his clothes. They act like they have "evidence" when it's really their own negative imagination in hyperdrive. 😂😂😂😂
Lol They'll attack her no matter what, it's so irrational at this point you just have to laugh. 😂😂😂😂

Sorry, this one is long. But the subject has given much to work with.
Proof People's Sexiest Man Alive 2023 really does hate himself, just from other quotes in the SMA article:
"I feel like I have a bit more freedom to take time away from the industry and still find projects that will satisfy my creative appetite when I return" I am sure based on the phoned in performance from Ghosted and on the reviews of Pain Hustlers, it sounds like you must be starving.
"My mom will be so happy," he says. "She's proud of everything I do but this is something she can really brag about". How she feelin' about that incel group also being proud of you?
Of Boston "We've got a lot of good schools. Let's give education a plug, that's damn sexy." I have read the few interviews your "beloved" has given and never before have I read so much and someone said so little. But hey, eyebrows are sexy, too. You can probably talk about that.
"I love the idea of tradition and ceremony, I had a lot of that in my life so the idea of creating that, I can't think of anything better." So I guess some new traditions are never being seen with your one and only without it being breadcrumbed and/or trolled, surrounded by a bunch of people, staged and scripted, all while you look miserable. Oh, and also talking about how you like to be alone and your dog is your soulmate.
Values most in a partner is "vulnerability and humility." I am sure your acting teaching family is thrilled she feels she is such a great actress that she doesn't need classes or coaching.
"I don't like to argue, I don't like to raise my voice, or any forms of manipulation," Yep, I know the feeling Christopher.
"It's wise and mature to be able to say "I'm sorry I made a mistake,' to be vulnerable and not always be looking for the argument or take things to an argumentative place. That takes a lot of maturity and I find that very sexy." I am sure that was the exact thought process when your baby posted her shower pic to deflect from the criticism she was getting for her problematic behavior. And did we miss the "sorry"? But only if it is accompanied by behavior change. Otherwise, it is just one of those pesky manipulations none of us likes.
"I love love". And that is why you feel comfortable taking a big dump on it with this disaster. If you are faking it, you have made love a joke, but if by chance it is real, you have shown yourself to be the absolute worst partner ever.
"The tough questions, you know what I mean? I [asked] a lot of tough questions as a kid," he explains. "'God made everything everything?' 'Is the color red to you the same as the color red to me?' I was a high strung kid and emotional so I'm anticipating those questions to be loaded with a lot of anxiety. And I think [as a parent] not only can you give a good answer to the specific question, but the tools to navigate tough questions like that." I'll just let the reader mull this one over, but I am curious to know the possible answer if asked "Dad, what do I do if I am forced to fake marry someone who represents the exact opposite of everything I have claimed to want in a partner? It will require me to use my family and friends in dumb schemes and stunts that will distract them from their daily lives and make thousands of innocent people look and feel crazy. It may even cause me to compromise my integrity and core beliefs by aligning me with those who represent the most base of our society."
But in all seriousness, there are some huge red flags here and this is unsustainable for a normal, happy life. Please study the lessons of this disaster, because the real tragedy of this mistake would be to just move on. Get help from professionals and seek to understand patterns that you keep falling into. I find the ABC method works well:

"Hello! I'm Adrien Fox with Pop Sugar and we are here with stars of the new film 'Week Off', Tom Holland and Y/N Y/L/N!" Adrien introduced you and Tom to the cameras.
You and Tom gave little waves, "Hello!"
"Now, let's get right into it."
Adrien began asking generic questions while you tried your best to prevent any spoilers from leaving Tom's lips.
"Can you explain the movie a bit to anyone who is unfamiliar with the book or hasn't watched the trailer?"
Tom opened his mouth to speak before closing it, "I think I'll let Y/N do that."
Adrien laughed before you spoke, "Yeah, um. It's basically a comedy with a little rated R content. Some romance, but mostly raunchy and hilarious stuff. It follows the employees in this law firm and their vacation away from work. Lots ensues during said trip including relationships, arguments and too much drinking."
"And you guys worked with many famous actors and actresses in this film. Like, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, Kevin Hart, Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum and The Rock. How was working with that many iconic people in the industry? You guys are obviously incredibly well known as well, but I imagine some of these people were your idols growing up." Adrien asked and you and Tom nodded.
"Yeah, uh, yeah. It was an honour. Absolutely amazing. Like, I never imagined I'd be making films, let alone films with stars like Kevin Hart and Emma Stone, you know? I'm just really proud of this one and I love everyone who we worked on it with." Tom gave his answer making you nod.
You cleared your throat, "Yeah, Zendaya is my best friend and she has been for years, long before this movie came along, but I still got so excited about working with her. Jennifer Lawrence is amazing, so hilarious. You put her and Chris into a room together and it's just comedy central." you laughed with Tom at the memory.
"We've seen in the trailer that you two share many intimate and – may I say – risqué scenes in this film. Was it hard to keep that level of professionalism and friendship while shooting those scenes?"
You let out a little chuckle at the question before Tom rubbed his chin and spoke, "Since Y/N and I are already good friends off screen, I thought it would be awkward filming those scenes, but Y/N does this weird handshake after every take and it wasn't awkward 'cause it just made me laugh."
Adrien laughed a little before speaking, "What handshake?"
You shook your head with a smile as you recalled the first time you ever did the handshake with Tom.
"Ready, Holland?" you had your pyjamas on and were making your way to your mark in the set of your character's hotel room.
Tom nodded before following you in, cameras and crew hot on his heels, "Ready as I'll ever be."
He was shirtless. A pair of loose fitting grey shorts hung low on his waist. His costume for this scene as Niko Sai.
A black silk slip hung carelessly off of your frame. Ending at the middle of your thighs, v-neck dipping low on your chest. Your costume for Kora Patel.
"We're going to take it from Tom's line; 'You want me just as much as I want you'. Okay?" you and Tom gave a thumbs up, "Action!"
"You want me just as much as I want you. Everytime you sneak a glance at me and you think I don't see, but I do because I'm already looking at you, Patel." Tom walked behind you, looking at you through the mirror in front of you. "I don't blame you, I am incredibly good looking." he smirked to himself.
"I'm guessing you couldn't fit your shirt over your ginormous head?" you rolled your eyes.
Tom's smirk only grew, "Is that a little bit of drool on your mouth, Patel? Who knew the Kora Patel had a thing for Niko Sai? Oh, the Lord is good."
You rested your hands on the sink and leaned forward, "This is a useless conversation, Sai." you turned to face him, "I feel nothing for you. Don't you get that?"
He stepped closer to you and cupped your face in his palm, "Yes you do, you just don't want to." his face showed pain, all humour drained from his character.
You shook your head with a dry laugh, "You're only trying with me because it's convenient. The company's quiet little Kora Patel, right?"
He took another step towards you, holding your hip in a tight grip, "That's a lie. Nothing about us is convenient."
You chuckled before your hand flew to grasp his hair, tangling your fingers in his curls. Your other hand pressed against his pec. Nails tracing patterns on his skin. Tom's breath hitched along with yours as his body automatically drew closer to you.
You tightened your grip on his hair, "It is convenient because you know I keep to myself. You know that I won't go running my mouth about how long you last or if size really does matter. You know that I'm an easy one to fuck," you pulled him closer, "And toss aside, right, Sai?"
"No." Tom swallowed, "You're wrong, Patel."
You shrugged, "I can give you what you want," you ran your thumb across his bottom lip, "Physically." your eyes met his with heavy lids, "Not emotionally. That's why you need Remedy. Not me." your lips brushed his as you spoke, your voice just loud enough for the mics to pick up.
He leaned in and nearly kissed you before you pushed him away slightly by his chest, foreheads still touching, "Let me kiss you." he whispered, sounding so desperate that you nearly abandoned the script and pulled him into you.
You rolled your lips between your teeth, "And if I don't?" you raised an eyebrow, challenging him.
"I'll leave you alone. If that's what you want, I'll go and have a useless one night stand with a girl who could never measure up to you." he pulled your hips flesh against his, "But if you let me kiss you. I promise to show you how much I mean it when I say that I'll spend all night showering every inch of your body with the love it deserves." he brushed his lips against yours again before bringing his mouth to your ear, "Just say the word, darling, and I'm yours."
Your heavy breaths were the only things that could be heard besides the small sound of shuffling behind the cameras. Your eyes flickered from his eyes to his lips before you closed the distance and pushed your lips to his.
Fighting for dominancy, teeth clashing, hands roaming. Unscripted groans falling from Tom's lips as you tugged on his hair, running your fingers along his scalp. His hands gripped the bottom of your thighs before you jumped and wrapped your legs around his waist.
"I still hate you." you breathed against his lips as he kissed the corner of your mouth.
You felt him smirk, "You sure have a funny way of showing it."
He carried you to the bedroom, gently laying you down and climbing on top of you, never breaking the kiss. His hands running down your sides, squeezing and rubbing. Your lips moving in sync until he pulled away only to attach his lips to your jawline, leaving slow but hard kisses down your neck, leading to your collarbone.
"Still hate me?" Tom mumbled against your skin.
You let out a breathy moan, "More than ever."
"What do you hate about me, Patel?" he lifted up the bottom of your black slip.
"E-everything." you fake gasped as he rolled his hips into yours.
He laughed dryly, "Everything, huh? The noises you're making say otherwise."
"You're such a dick." you moaned.
He smirked against your breast, "You're about to take my—"
"—Don't finish that fucking sentence, Sai."
Soft moans fell from your lips as you wrapped your legs around his waist again and pulled him closer to you. He groaned against your skin as the cameras picked up every noise, every movement, every kiss. You ran your nails down his back, surely leaving marks in its wake. His grip on your hips was almost punishing, as if he wanted there to be bruises the next day.
"And cut! Great work, guys. Ten minute break and we'll shoot it again."
Tom immediately got off of you and sat to the side of the bed before looking at you with concern, "Are you okay? Did I hurt you?"
You let out a laugh before shaking your head, "No, you didn't hurt me. Dap me up." you held out your hand and he stared confused.
"What you up?" he chuckled.
You smiled before lifting his hand and doing the movements for him, "Just like that." he finally got it down and smiled.
"You Americans are definitely odd." he teased.
You tossed him a wink as an assistant handed you a robe, "See you in ten, Holland."
"And that's the handshake. It's not really a handshake, more of a greeting. I just did it after our first intimate scene because Tom was acting weird and I didn't want things to be awkward." you explained with a shrug as Adrien and Tom laughed.
Tom nodded, "I thought I hurt her! So I asked if I did and all she said was 'dap me up', like, what?" he laughed with you.
"You guys have really great chemistry on and off screen." Adrien complimented making your cheeks heat up.
You nodded, "Thank you. It took a lot of work to break through his industrial ego." you joked with an exhausted sigh as Adrien laughed.
Tom gasped beside you, "I do not have an industrial ego!"
"Mhm, sure." you joked before reaching over and giving Tom's thigh a gentle squeeze, "I meant indestructible."
Tom huffed and crossed his arms, "This is bullying."
Adrien laughed again, "We have to talk about something," he started and you already knew what was coming, "Lots of fans have speculated that the romance on screen carries on off screen." he smirked.
You and Tom laughed nervously. Almost awkwardly.
The situations that you went through with Tom while filming definitely built your relationship with him and strengthened it. In all honesty, you didn't know if the feelings you had for him were reciprocated.
In Tom's head, he was adamant that you had no feelings for him beyond the big screen. Both of you were too timid to confess first. His feelings for you developed a few weeks into filming and since then have only gotten stronger as your friendship grew and you spent more time together.
The amount of times that this topic had been brought up today was tiring. Every answer was the same: "No, no. We're just really good friends."
You decided to joke around, "Honestly, I've asked Tom out at least twenty times and he keeps rejecting me." you pouted and sniffled.
Adrien let out a joyous laugh as Tom gasped and choked on air at your words.
"That is not true! She has never asked me out!" he defended himself.
You shook your head with a deep frown, "He's broken my heart too many times. This is probably my last time acting with him." you continued on with the joke.
Tom shook his head furiously, "That is one hundred percent false. If she had asked me out, we would already be dating." he let the words fall from his lips without a second thought.
You fought the instinct to snap your head towards him. His confession catching you off guard. You played it off with another pout and shrug. Unsure if he was joining in on the prank or not.
Adrien raised a suggestive eyebrow, "What I'm hearing is that Y/N just needs to ask you out and we have our new couple."
You fake gasped, "Why do I have to ask him out? He should be asking me out with a million roses and a horse drawn carriage." you flipped your hair over your shoulder.
"You don't even like roses." Tom laughed, "You like dandelions because they turn into those fluffy things that you can make a wish with." he remembered the information off of the top of his head, "And because it sounds like you're saying 'dandy lions' when you say their name."
You nodded with a smile, "A million dandelions then. And maybe I'll think about it." you joked with a yawn making the two men laugh.
"You heard it here first. We have a new couple on the rise. Tom just needs to find a million dandelions and a horse drawn carriage." Adrien laughed again.
Tom scoffed dramatically, "Find? I already have them in my garage, ready to go."
Adrien cheered as you felt a heat creep up your neck, "Did I say dandelions? I meant daisies."
"Got those, too." Tom smirked making you roll your eyes.
"Okay, we need to end this interview before Tom buys all the flowers in Berlin." you joked.
After the interview ended, you said your goodbyes to Adrien and the crew before you and Tom made your way back to your temporary hotel suite for the week of press junkets.
Tom walked you to your room, stopping at the door, "That was an odd interview." he chuckled.
You nodded, "Indeed. It was fun, though." you smiled and he returned the expression.
There was an awkward beat of silence before he spoke again, "T-that whole asking me out thing. You were kidding, right? Like, just a show for the cameras?" he laughed nervously.
You swallowed air before replying with a timid smile, "Y-yeah. Totally. Just for the fans." you nodded again, "Um, I should head to bed. More interviews tomorrow. See you in the morning." you gave him a little wave before turning to your door and pulling out your key.
He nodded with the smallest of pouts before turning on his heel and starting the walk back to his suite.
Just as your hand was turning the knob, Tom's voice called out to you again.
"Would you like to go on a date with me?" he spoke in one breath.
You bit your lip to conceal your smile, but it was no use. His question sparked a flame in your stomach that wasn't dying out anytime soon.
You turned with a bright grin, "I'd love to."
His features went from pure fright to relief in a matter of seconds, "G-great. I'll- uh, I'll text you the details. Goodnight." he gave you a little salute making you laugh.
"Sounds good. Night, Holland." you nodded your head before entering your hotel room.
You leaned against the door as soon as it shut. A euphoric glow radiating off of you. You were going on a date with Tom Holland.
Tom happily punched the air. Skipping down the hallway, a new found joy in his step. Chris Hemsworth walked out of his room and examined the gleeful boy.
"What's got you all smiley?" he chuckled.
Tom stopped and smiled, staring at the ceiling, "I just got myself a date."
Chris raised an impressed eyebrow before laughing, "You really are Peter Parker. Night, kid."
"Goodnight, Chris." Tom's smile never faded as he made his way back to his suite.
Not even ten minutes had gone by since he last spoke to you and he already missed you. He pulled out his phone and pressed on your contact.
Tom: sorry i didn't have any dandelions. hope you can make an exception x
Y/N: i suppose but the horse drawn carriage is a must x

Awards Season (latina!reader)
---------------------------------------------------------------
“Here to present the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, please welcome Meryl Streep!” the host announced. A roar came from the audience at the mention of her name, the very acclaimed actress welcoming the attention and making her way to the microphone.
“Oh, stop it” she said and waved them away, earning a laugh and even more cheering from the theatre. “If I’m honest, I really considered not presenting this award because it breaks me inside to give the Oscar to someone else when it’s rightfully mine” she said in a funny, raspy evil voice, resembling a witch, “But you know, sharing is caring or whatever. Alright let’s get to it.” she continued dejectedly, still joking.
“This year, we have been blessed with beautiful films and, along with them, incredible performances from beautiful and talented actresses. Viola Davis, your abilities to embody different characters and raise awareness to ongoing issues in society has always amazed us, and it does once again in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”, Meryl announced, the camera going to Viola who was sitting about 10 seats to my left, the audience (including me) applauding and praising her. Literally all of her performances are incredible.
Could I still believe I was here? Definitely not, and not any time soon. From small skits to my big break with Tom Holland in a stupid rom-com that I didn’t even want to make, to now. Tom knows it’s nothing against him, it’s just that I haven’t learned to appreciate romantic comedies the way he has, but the thing I loved most from doing it was finishing it with Tom. He had become such an important person in my life since that moment, what with guiding me through the newfound world of fame and being there for me when I joined the Marvel franchise, it was just more than I could ever dream of. Now I sit here at the freaking Oscars, with Tom Holland as my date, and having done one of the greatest films ever, nothing could keep the smile off my face. Or the nerves.
My leg kept bouncing up and down, a nervous action I often did and one that the guy beside me had caught on to real quick when we first met. His warm hand gently squeezed my thigh, and I turned to look at him a little surprised.
“Hey, it’s okay” he softly said, his gaze soft and comforting.
“I didn’t even realize I was doing it” I answered in the same tone, whispering a thank you and letting my hand rest on top of his, weirdly interlocking our fingers.
Meryl turned to where Olivia Colman was sitting, “Your Majesty,” she started, referencing her portrayals of royalty and causing her to chuckle, “your moving performances have always left us wanting more, and I’m sure that is what I and everyone felt when we saw you in The Father” a big smile broke out on her face, and cheering ensued once more for our queen, or at least one of mine.
“Aging is some we all go through...unfortunately,” Meryl uttered into the mic, touching up her almost white hair, “and you, Cynthia Erivo, made us relate to your character this way with your brilliant acting in Reaching 39″, that woman is simply amazing, I thought as I clapped and cheered with the audience.
“My dear Kate,” the camera panned to Kate Winslet, who just stared fondly at the woman on the stage, “watching you grow as an actress has been one of the pleasures of my life and you reach new heights both professionally and literally in Misdemeanors”, she is such an icon, oh my.
Finally, Meryl Streep turned to look at me in the front row with a grin on her face, and I quickly got into “camera mode”, as I like to call it. I sat up straighter, looking at her with gentle eyes and smile.
“Señorita Y/N Y/L,” she started with the heavily accented Spanish word for Ms., “with your entrance into the world of filmmaking, you have set new expectations for all of us to reach. Even though this is your first nomination, I feel in my heart it won’t be the last, and we can’t wait to see more of you like we saw with your extraordinary performance in Paraíso” she finished, bringing a big smile to my face at her words. Turning to the camera, I became a bit shy and gave a small wave, feeling Tom squeeze my hand in comfort and another hand on my shoulder from behind. I turned to see Salma Hayek, one of my co-stars in the film, who gave me a strong nod and smile, loudly saying “Eso!” as a cheer for me.
“And the Oscar goes too...” ayyyyy no ay no que nervios que nervios que nervios me muero- all of this going through my head repeatedly but having to put on a smile and a calm façade for the camera was exhausting. Tranquila, tranquila, si no ganas está bien igual solo el hecho de estar aquí ya es lo más-
“Y/N Y/L, Paraíso!” Meryl announced, and all I heard were screams and loud clapping from around me.
Shocked, I looked up with wide eyes and my jaw going slack a little. I felt a buzz fill my body and the idol on the stage beckoned me up, when I realized I hadn’t moved. I slowly stood up and instantly turned to Tom who quickly pulled me into his arms with a strong hug and whispering in my year, “I knew it! I knew you would do it darling. I’m so so proud of you babe, go get your award!” not giving me a chance to answer as he gave me a quick kiss and turned me around in the direction of the stage. Still in a bit of a daze, I didn’t see Salma, Eugenio (Derbez), and Benicio (del Toro) make their way to me, ambushing me in a group hug as they started jumping around and sort of with me, chanting “EH! EH! EH!” like Latinos at a party and causing me to laugh and come back to my senses. I hugged them all and continued to the stairs, stopping to hug my directors Guillermo del Toro and Alfonso Cuarón.
I lifted my dress as I ascended the steps, and in true nervous fashion, stumbled and almost face planted in front of thousands of people.
“Uy, mierda” I chuckled to myself, and accepted the help of none other than Chris Evans who lent his arm for the remaining steps. I thanked him with a smile and after his Congrats!, I made my way to Meryl who held the famous award in her hands. She handed it to me and pulled me into her embrace, saying “Beautiful job, sweetheart, you’re amazing”, and all I could answer was “Oh my, thank you so much, you’re the amazing one”, sharing a laugh with her and standing in front of the mic.
I looked out into the audience, who were still giving me a standing ovation. Almost like a camera in my head, I tried to ingrain this moment in my mind and took a deep breath, starting my speech.
“God, I really hope I don’t forget any words in English right now” I said with a breathless laugh, inciting one from the people below me. “Thank you so much. Thank you to...um...so many people. To the Academy for this great, great honor. To my fellow nominees for inspiring me every single day. Being in the same room as you is already insane, let alone being nominated with you, it’s just- it’s truly out of this world. Viola, Olivia, Kate, Cynthia, you are my literal idols and if I could physically cut this Oscar into five pieces,” I said as I made a motion of cutting the award and humoured the audience, “I would give a piece to all of you. Um, thank you to my team, my agent, Victoria, te adoro y te agradezco for believing in me and helping me live out my dream. Sorry, I’m probably gonna switch between languages during this.” I said with a laugh.
“Paraíso was a project that, for me, came out of nowhere. But for my extraordinary directors los señores Guillermo del Toro and Alfonso Cuarón, it was a life’s work so to you, gracias por darme la oportunidad de darle vida a Marielos and for giving me the experience of a lifetime. Salma, Eugenio, Benicio, Gael, and all the cast and crew, thank you for becoming my second family and supporting me every step of the way. It has been my honor to work with you” I said with a hand on my chest, showing that I was speaking from my heart and smiling at the kisses and cheers sent to me from them, hearing a crazed Te amamos! from Eugenio. It eased the tension in my body which I was incredibly thankful for.
“I also want to thank-” I stopped, getting a little choked up, “ha, sorry, it’s my family that couldn’t be here” I said, a wave of claps and cheering in comfort came from the audience. Quickly composing myself, I continued, “Ya, okay. All the way back home, lo hice! Familia, les dije que no les iba a agradecer si me ganaba un Oscar algún día por no creer en mi y hoy es ese día, pero no me lo perdonaría si no les agradezco. Gracias por apoyarme a pesar de que yo sé que les dio un ataque que quisiera ser actriz. Gracias por siempre estar ahí para mi, por quererme incondicionalmente y por enseñarme que trabajando duro todo se puede lograr. Los amo infinitamente.” I finished, with tears threatening to roll down my eyes. I tilted my head to the sky to prevent them from falling, and with a deep breath I turned to Tom who had his hands in a prayer stance while looking intently at me, the same smile from before still gracing his face.
“Tommy...” I started, and the audience audibly awed at the nickname, “Oh, you don’t even know what I’m gonna say to him” I said with narrowed eyes, but my gaze found my love once more.
“Thank you so much for being my rock ever since we met. I’m beyond thankful for you and all you do for me, baby. You make me the happiest and thank you for pushing me to do things that scare me. For being there for me in case I fall and for being my person. Te amo, amor.” I blowed him a kiss which he caught and jokingly used to wipe his tears, making me and the other celebrities laugh.
Please wrap up, I read from the screen, and let out and “Ay, perdón! I gotta wrap up sorry sorry” hurriedly finishing up my speech.
“Lastly, this award goes out to all the Latina girls out there with big dreams. Nunca se den por vencidas. No dejen que nadie les diga que no porque de que se puede, se puede. Querer es poder! I love you guys, my fans oh my gosh, thank you thank you, gracias!” I rushed out, raising the award to the air with one last big smile as Meryl guided me backstage to answer some questions. Just before I was off sight, I turned and looked out to the stage once more.
Lo logré...

Translated to English (Sept 2)
Camila Cabello raises her voice: "It is important to love yourself and feel good on your skin"
Cuban singer and actress Camila Cabello brings Cinderella to life in a new version of the classic fairy tale that breaks with the stereotypes of helpless damsels.
Tired of criticism, negative comments and disqualifications, Camila Cabello dispatched her critics with a forceful message that made clear the woman she has become. "We are real women, with curves, cellulite, stretch marks and fat, and we have to be proud of it," the actress and singer told those who questioned her physical condition. Now, the Cuban takes that declaration of empowerment to the movie Cinderella (Amazon Prime), in which the mold of conventional princesses is broken.
"I love how modern this version of Cinderella is and how it focuses on empowerment," the actress told People en Español exclusively. "I think other fairy tales do not accurately reflect women. In this one, Cinderella has dreams and ambitions, and wants to save herself, not that a prince or anyone else saves her. Nor is there a clear villain in the story."
The villain in real life are stereotypes and to get rid of them, Cabello does everything. "I think other fairy tales don't accurately reflect women," she says. "I think it's very important to love yourself and feel good on your skin."
Together with the person you share your life certainly as well. "My heart is full," says the performer, who maintains a relationship with singer Shawn Mendes. "I'm happy right now"
Of that happiness, her protagonist as the new Cinderella, Cuba, her family and upcoming projects spoke exclusively with People en Español.
What was the message of this new adoption that made you decide to be the new Cinderella?
I love how modern this version is and how it focuses on empowerment. I think other fairy tales have more outdated values and do not accurately reflect women. This Cinderella has dreams and ambitions, and she wants to save herself, not for a prince or anyone else to save her. There is also no villain in the story, it focuses more on people who seek to get ahead despite their emotional load and traumas.
This movie breaks all the stereotypes of the classic Cinderella story. An independent woman predominates, a young woman who has dreams and makes them a reality. What can you tell us about this story you may have known as a child?
I grew up as a big fan of princesses. I love that this version is fun and powerful. I think it is very important that we continue to show messages like this to younger audiences so that they see the value of having different dreams.
What was it like to work with Idina Menzel, Minni Driver and Pierce Brosnan? What would you highlight about them as people and professionals, what did you learn from them?
It was an incredible and unique experience. They are very professional and created a safe and cozy atmosphere on the set. I really learned from them and it became a very collaborative process.
Why should everyone see this new Cinderella? Especially young girls ...
This is a very enriching movie and I love that message. I think that increasingly, the same women are the ones who determine what we can do. [Women] are powerful, fearless, intelligent and we can do anything. This movie really shows that and it's so much fun!
What was your favorite scene?
I loved the scene when I met my Fab G (Billy Porter). That scene is very funny and also shows the importance of getting a little help and guidance, sometimes.
What did you enjoy most when bringing this character to life? Do you see yourself acting in the future?
This was one of the most fun experiences of my life. I would definitely love to continue acting in the future. In fact, I was able to write a song for this movie, so the acting and singing part was perfect for me.
Did the filming take place during the pandemic? How did that work? What were the measures they took to protect them all?
Part of the shoot took place during the pandemic, but when we were on set we followed all the protocols of covid-19, so no matter how crazy it was, everything felt very safe.
What would you highlight about the soundtrack of the film?
The soundtrack is great! I wrote an original song for the movie, so it was incredible to be part of it. I also love the dance scene where a version of Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" is played. This is the first time my character dances with the prince and the song is perfect for the scene.
You have always fought to break stereotypes. Why is it so important for you to use your life, your career and your image to empower women, to fight for mental health?
I think that helping other women to be strong, ambitious and support each other is very important, [also] helping each other realize our power, our potential. I love being able to be part of empowering other women to fight for their mental health and body positivity, but I also encourage all my fans to break any stereotype that is imposed on them.
What advice do you give to all the girls who don't feel good in their own skin? To the young women who admire you and to everything you do?
I think it's very important to love yourself and feel good in your skin. Everyone is doing the best they can and we are all simply human. Some days can be really challenging, but I think it is important to make the effort to feel good about yourself.
This last year and a half has been very difficult for everyone. Many have lost loved ones during the pandemic and others are very sick. How did you and your family live this stage? How did the pandemic change you?
I put a lot of attention into my mental health and I think prioritizing self-care is important. I like to meditate to calm down and I think meditating can be great for everyone. I also think it is important to appreciate the little things and really enjoy your time with family and friends.
What has been the most difficult thing you have faced as a professional and as a young woman? You must have to deal with a lot of pressure, how do you do it?
I started in the industry at an early age, so it was a lot of pressure when I started and even now. I think it's very important that you control yourself about how you feel and listen to what your body is telling you.
Cuba is for you...
Where I was born and where my mom and her side of the family are from: she will always be part of me
Mexico for you is ...
Where is my dad and his side of my family from: he will always be part of me.
Miami for you is ...
My base of operations: where I grew up and where I spend most of my time
Your family for you is ...
Everything! Family is the most important thing to me and has been my support system during all this.
What do you have to do, what is on your wish list, your to-do list in both your life and your career?
I am very grateful for everything I have experienced so far. I have also learned to live more in the present, so I am very excited about everything that is to come! I just released my first single "Don't Go Yet", which is part of my next album.
How is your heart? Are you happy?
My heart is full and I'm so happy right now!

Love Will Tear Us Apart Pt.2
Tumblr media
Pairing: VictoriaxMc
Gender: Slightly Angst/heartbreaking filled with romance
@jellymonster @lovechoices @alexandralabhont @torifontaine @rudeassmonkey65 @psychopathdreamer21 @abunchofbadchoices @gayfontaine @zoe6111 @delphinusbae @choicesfannatalie @rubyheartjane
A/N: Hi everybody, today I was inspired and I decided to write this. The idea popped into my mind as I was replaying the last chapter of RCD's book 2 when Victoria admits being in love with MC, and MC alternately rejects her, so Victoria says "Don’t say anything else please. If you get there... Amazing. If you don’t... I still think having you in my life has been for the best”
Prompt: Falling in love with your best friend and seeing her date someone else can be painful, especially when you do not admit your feelings to her for fear of losing her and being rejected. That was what Victoria thought, but that was before her agent called with an unexpected offer. When Victoria and Kat have to act as lovers in Thomas Hunt's new series, things can turn out to be disastrous, would Victoria finally admit the truth when she's about to kiss her best friend for the first time on a TV show? Somebody is going to get out of this with a broken heart?
Months later
“...AND ACTION!”
"You know perfectly well that we can not let the police find Frederick's body." Ryan Summers in his character James Scott, New Orleans' most famous thief, looked earnestly into Victoria's eyes which in response received a cold glance from her character, Selina Di Santis the mafia's badass queen, rolled her eyes.
"... I'm not joking around, Scott." Victoria paced the room in long, slow strides. "I know what's at stake."
"Our necks," Ryan said between his teeth.
"My reputation. One of the city's crime leaders is dead, which means there's blood in the water and the sharks will come for us."
"The police." Ryan sighed.
"You're not as dumb as you look." Victoria nodded.
"It's only a matter of minutes before they come. Agent Russo has come to you?"
"No, but she'll come." Victoria smiled presumptuously, folding her arms. "... And when she arrive, I'll be prepared for it."
"... And cut!" Hunt's voice sounded from the set. Ryan and Victoria turned to the director. "That was formidable, Victoria and Ryan. Let's take a twenty-minute break and pick up the scene with Kat and Victoria." Victoria and Ryan nodded and headed off on different paths, she opted to go back to her trailer and do her makeup and hair, to recite her next lines.
She sighed as she returned to the comfort of her trailer, pulling out of her heels and sitting on her couch. Kat should probably be doing the same in her trailer, she always stayed a little longer to concentrate better. That day, Victoria saw her for a few minutes, Kat kissed her cheek and said she was excited to record their scene together.
It had been a few months since the show had been made. Hunt was more than proud of the work the two were producing together. Apparently when it aired the first episode of the series, the fans were crazy and the most beloved couple in the series were the characters of Victoria and Kat, the fans loved the couple. The chemistry between the two actresses was so strong that it made all scenes even more real, adding to all that repressed love and hate between special agent sweetheart Russo and the villainous owner of an empire formed by gangsters and death, Di Santis.
Victoria was grateful for the success that the show was making, with all that success and attention that her character and Kat's received, she could not help but wonder how close they both had been. On a few nights Kat went to the Victoria mansion to practice together and it was great.
Internally a part of Victoria was happy to spend more time with her. She made a mistake in falling in love with her best friend and for months tried to deny it, but then again, when are we able to choose who we're going to love? She did not choose, it happened.
She wanted to blame someone else besides her, maybe Kat? She was a great person to blame, she was everything Victoria wanted to avoid, but she could not.
"Oh. Stop it, Fontaine. She's with Matt.” Victoria shook her head in frustration with herself. She could not get much work done in that trailer at afternoon. When the trainee appeared in her trailer calling her back to the set, she sighed. That was her job and she was incredibly good at it even if she had to hide her feelings.
Victoria sighed trying to take out those thoughts that were bad for her mind, she finalized her makeup and returned to the set. On returning to the set she found the last thing she wanted to see. Kat was there and she was smiling radiantly in Matt's arms. Ugh, the image of perfect couple that the two of them made caused nausea in Victoria. She held the urgency to roll her eyes.
"What is he doing here?" She thought to herself bitterly. “He isn’t supposed to be at Italy recording his new movie?”
"Tori, hey." Kat saw her before she could change her course and go unnoticed. Victoria saw no other solution, approached with slow steps, for her it was as if she were walking to the death. “You don’t believe who show up here! Matt is going to spend the weekend at New Orleans with me!” She was so damn happy.
"Rodriguez," she said, glaring at Matt, forcing a smile.
"Fontaine," he answered with a playful smile.
"Ugh, you do not have any action movies to do?" Victoria thought. “Just go back to Italy already.”
"Matt came by to pick me up after the shoot, since this is our last scene of the day and he got the day off" Kat explained, smiling cheerfully.
"I thought we were going to have some coffee after the shoot." Victoria turned to her, trying not to look down.
"Oh!" Something snapped in Kat's eyes.
"Yep. She had completely forgotten our plans. That's what you get, Fontaine. She forgot you.”
"I'm sorry, Tori! I forgot.” Kat stepped up to apologize. Always a sweetheart. "Can we... You know, reschedule?"
"It was our afternoon together... And now you're going to go with Mr. Muscles."
"Yeah sure." Victoria shrugged nonchalantly.
"Thank you! You're the best.” Kat smiled.
"Yeah... I am." Victoria nodded, folding her arms.
"So... They say you two have good chemistry on TV. I wanted to see for myself.” Matt said smiling.
"I bet you want to," Victoria thought to herself bitterly.
"Alright everybody!" Thomas returned to the set with Holly. “Everyone in their positions." Hunt sat in his chair and fixed his eyes with a serious look at the set ahead of him.
“I guess that’s us” Kat turned to Matt smiling and gave him a peck in the lips. Victoria rolled her eyes and went back at her office in the scene.
" ... Action" Thomas said. Victoria knew perfectly well that the cameras were already rolling, she crossed her legs and glanced at the window while she drank her old fashioned.
The doors of her office suddenly burst open, revealing Kat panting and her blue eyes flaming with anger. She wore the famous leather jacket over the black tank top and jeans that were the hallmark of her character Alexis Russo.
"...Give me a good reason not to arrest you now, Selina!" She said angrily, Victoria turned her chair with a triumphant smile.
"Good afternoon to you, too, Agent Russo. What a beautiful afternoon do not you think?” Victoria smiled. Kat stepped quickly toward Victoria's table and put both hands on the wooden table.
"I'll lock you up behind bars for so many years that you will never see the light of day again," she said between her teeth.
"...I bet you could not stop thinking about me, huh? That's why you're here, right? To finish the discussion we had at that bar?” Victoria said smiling, wrapping a blond wick in one of her fingers. Kat retreated a few steps, her cheeks flushing slightly. "Damn, I taught you perfectly." Victoria thought to herself of seeing her performance.
"Do not play with me," Kat snarled. "I know it was one of your men who killed Frederick! I'm going to arrest you all."
"So much hate in the heart, agent." Victoria stood and circled Kat like a lioness about to attack her prey. Kat stood by watching her, "I wonder if you're really here with the intention of arresting me."
"There's nothing I want more than to see you pay for your crimes."
"Oh really? I do not believe it.” Victoria approached slowly. "You know, I think all your motivation to arrest me is actually hiding other things." She drew closer.
"One more step and I'll shoot, I swear to god, Di Santis, do not tease me." Kat threatened to put her hand in the holster as Victoria pulled her by the collar of her shirt and brought Kat close to her. At the same moment she could feel Kat's sweet scent with precision, Victoria smiled, staring at Kat’s lips, she touched Kat's chin.
And so it was the script, there was no kiss, only a platonic desire between them, a line neither of them should cross. But Victoria's wish was still there, she knew everybody was looking, Matt was. She got even closer to Kat, their lips inches from each other. “She’s so incredibly hot” Victoria thought to herself looking straight to Katherine’s sky blue eyes. A untrustworthy voice screamed in her mind to kiss Kat, dominating all her senses — but in the background another screamed back, saying she was a professional after all. She shouldn’t let her feelings intervene in her work.
"... What are you going to do, hm?" Victoria's voice sounded like a whisper.
"You... I’m... Not—" Kat stammered with the approach, she pulled away and shook her head. "I'll prove it was you who gave the order to kill him." Victoria laughed. Kat turned away from her and marched toward the door.
"...Do not forget to come back with a warrant." Victoria said with her back to Kat smiling. She heard Kat grunting and her grin widened even more.
"... And cut!" Hunt's voice echoed. Victoria turned her eyes to him and Kat did the same. "...You two were perfectly suited for this scene. Tomorrow we'll start from the scene of Chris and Pippa on the bridge. You two are dismissed,” he said. Victoria rolled her eyes.
"Relax, Tori. That was a compliment coming from him." Kat laughed putting her hand lightly on Victoria's shoulder.
"I have not gotten used to working with his strange terms yet," Victoria said as they walked together on the set.
"I think you were amazing, as always. My God, that scene was... pretty hot.” Kat sighed and smiled. Victoria stopped and looked at her for a moment. Was she impressed? She... Did she feel something? No, it could not be.
"Really?" Victoria stopped.
"Absolutely! Our chemistry in this scene was wonderful, I can not even imagine about the scene of the kiss between Selina and Alexis would be like.” Kat smiled excitedly. Victoria smiled, even though she tried to stop herself now.
"Well, if you're interested, we could go over the script in my room at hotel—"
"Hey, Kat!" Matt emerged before she could even finish the sentence, wrapping Katherine in his arms and kissing her face. "That scene was awesome! You were absolutely beautiful! "
"Do you think?" Kat turned with a smile to him, completely forgetting the subject, Victoria restrained the urge to turn her eyes.
"Girls, congratulations. This show is lucky to have you. Hunt should be grateful just for the chemistry you guys have on the show." Matt laughed and Victoria sighed forcing a smile. "Well, are we leaving?"
"Yeah, I just need to get my purse," Kat said.
"That's right. I'm just going to say goodbye to the people.” Matt kissed her cheek. "Great scene, Fontaine." He gave a thumbs-up to Victoria, smiling. Victoria smiled back.
Kat turned to her.
"I'll see you tomorrow on the set?"
"Sounds great." Victoria shrugged.
They had been friends for a long time, long enough for Kat to notice Victoria's behavior change.
She stopped, staring directly into the diva's eyes.
"Vic are you alright? What's wrong? "she asked.
“Nothing” Victoria lied.
Kat sighed impatiently.
“I’m really sorry about our coffee, I really forgot.”
“I don’t mind.”
“Oh, come on. Matt’s is only in the town for this weekend, you know I would never uncheck something with you if it was not for something important.”
“So, now I’m not important anymore?” Victoria touched her own chest.
“No, no! That’s not what I meant!”
“Every time he’s around you do this. You know that I hate this shit and yet you keep doing it. Today was our day.”
“He’s my boyfriend and you’re my best friend, of course, I’m going go out with him if he’s around!.”
Victoria bit her lip and nodded.
"You better go, your boyfriend is waiting for you, I will not hold you for much longer.” She turned her back and left, leaving Kat behind.
"Vic, please wait!"
Two weeks later 13h30pm
Victoria stared at her own reflection in the mirror, on one side was her personal hairstylist, adjusting the bobs in her blond hair to form her character's famous hairstyle. And on the other, her makeup artist, giving the finishing touches on her make-up. She sighed, angry at herself for the immensity of feelings that tightened her heart even more. How could she not be angry with herself for being in love with someone who clearly did not feel the same, and left her almost always in the background, or even with Kat for being... Kat. She was really pretty, but sometimes so naive. Katherine had sent some messages to her over the weekend, unanswered by the diva. The last thing Victoria wanted was to disrupt the happy couple. From now on, she would no longer let herself be affected by Kat, she would back away.
A few soft knocks came from the door of her trailer.
"Come in," Victoria said without looking away from the mirror. The door to the trailer opened, and Victoria could feel the fragrance of that perfume she knew perfectly. Damn.
"Wow... You look so beautiful." She turned her face and met Kat leaning against the door. Victoria felt her face burn and turned to face the mirror again. "The silent treatment? Seriously?"
Victoria did not answer her, in response to her attitude, Kat turned to the artists.
"Hey, guys. Do you mind giving us a minute alone?" She asked. Always so educated, when they both replied that they did not care and left the trailer leaving them alone, Kat sighed and took slow steps towards Victoria. "I bought our lunch, I went to that vegan restaurant that you love," she said as she got to her knees by Victoria's chair and looking for a response from the diva.
It was difficult. Hard to ignore, hard to ignore when she was so sweet, polite and charming. "Hey, uh... Do you mind look at me for just a minute?” She laughed.
Victoria turned her face and looked at her. Kat stared at her like an abandoned dog, her blue eyes bright and the dimple of her right cheek appearing as she bit her bottom lip. Oh, fuck.
“Don’t take easy on her. She screwed you.” Victoria replied to herself, trying to avoid Kat’s eyes.
“You don’t deserve it.” Victoria said coldly.
"Not even a bit. I'm sorry," Kat said sincerely, Victoria rolled her eyes. "Matt told me that he was coming at last minute, I got so anxious to see him again, but you... You’re so important in my life as well. I love you both.” She said looking for Victoria's eyes. "I can do anything to redeem myself with you. Anything you want.” Kat touched her arm lightly, bringing chills to Victoria's body and her stomach spinning, she tried not to demonstrate, swallowing hard and diverting her face for the young actress not to notice. Victoria took a deep breath and looked at her again, how could she get away from Katherine?
“Don’t do that again.” Victoria said.
“I won’t.”
“You better.”
Kat opened a beautiful smile and leaned down enough to leave a kiss on Victoria's cheek, leaving her face incredibly red. She stood and turned to take the lunch from both of them on the counter, giving Victoria enough time to recover from that act of unexpected affection, touching her own cheek.
Wednesday, 14h10pm
Kat followed Victoria into her trailer, the girl jumped on the couch and settled herself with a smirk on her face. Victoria leaned against the counter with her eyes on her, Kat pulled her cell phone out of her pocket and began to check her messages.
“How was your weekend?” Victoria asked.
“Really great. I just... I missed him so much. We really had a great time together.” Kat sighed talking about Matt again. “I’m sad that he had to go back to Italy, but it’s our jobs and we both understood this.”
Victoria took a deep breath, hearing those words were just like being shouted at the chest.
“I’m happy for you both.” She lied turning with a fake smile.
“Thanks, Vic.” Kat smiled back. “Sometimes I forget how great best friend you are to me. I’m lucky to have you.”
“Yeah, friend” Victoria thought bitterly. "...How's Matt doing?" Victoria asked. Kat looked up and smiled.
"He’s great." She smiled. "Just a little annoyed since we're not spending as much time together as we used to, but he understands." Victoria held the inner will to roll her eyes.
"Yeah. Sure.” She said and folded her arms.
"Chazz just reminded me that we have a very crowded day. I forgot the interviews and the photoshoots"
"Well, I have not forgotten." Victoria stepped away from her and went to the kitchen to make the tea. "Now we're almost done with this season.”
"Yeah, it's great, is not it?" Kat laughed, leaning against the back of the couch. Just two more episodes to end the first season. This series is crazy, you can not imagine how much the fans stop me at street, they keep asking me questions about you. Now they're shipping the two of us."
"At least they're on my side." Victoria thought to herself with a smirk on her face. "Does that bother Matt?" She glanced over her shoulder.
"A little. He says no, but I think he thinks the opposite, but he understands that the commotion is all about the show... So.” She shrugged.
"Good to know." Victoria smiled convinced.
"Which brings up a subject that I think we should talk about," Kat said, suddenly altering her behavior, fiddling absently on her cell phone, apparently to have something to look at instead of Victoria's eyes.
"What would it be?" Victoria asked curiously, taking a sip of her coffee.
"Our kiss," Kat said as she nearly knocked her coffee onto the upholstery of her sofa. "I mean... in the series. Hunt came to tell me that in the next episode will be filming the first kiss of our characters.” Kat told her and Victoria could not help noticing how eager she looked.
"Well, it would eventually happen, uh?" Victoria answered back.
"But are not you a little nervous about it? I mean, it's us... me and you, and I know it’s our characters and not us, but still... I do not know, I've never kissed my best friend before.” She gave a nervous laugh.
"I've done it so many, many times, I've gotten used to kissing in front of cameras." Victoria shrugged.
"I know and me too, but we have to talk about it." Kat said putting one of the strands of her hair behind her ear, Victoria noticed how cute she was when she did it, even though it was a sign of nervousness.
"Okay." Victoria turned to her. "Let's talk about this."
"Well..." Kat started shyly. "When I was a teenager— And you promise not to laugh at me!" She pointed her fingers at Victoria.
"Okay, Okay. I promise.” Victoria held up her hands in defense.
"...You know, we all have that crush of adolescence that is a celebrity and has no idea that you exist. In my case... You were my celebrity crush. And now you know that I exist, and we're best friends and we're about to kiss each other for the first time on a TV show! This is crazy. "
That was like a punch in Victoria's face, she stopped at once. Glancing at the girl with nothing to say. Kat smiled red-cheeked as she told her about her teenage years.
"Wait a minute, did you have a crush on me?" Victoria pointed to her still discredited chest.
"Yes. A huuuge crush. Can you believe it?” She laughed.
"Not. I can not,” Victoria said as she leaned her back against the couch, deep in thought, how life could be extremely bitch, now it was her who had a huge crush on Kat.
“Kat, may I ask you something? "Victoria approached curiously.
"Anything." Kat shrugged.
"We never had this conversation, but... I have to say, I always thought you were straight. So you're telling me—"
"I'm bisexual," Kat admitted. "I mean, I have more experiences with guys than women, I think I only slept with two girls," she said reflectively.
"I have a chance." It was the only thing that went through Victoria's mind. That conversation was proof that it was possible.
"I don’t know, I just... I do not know how to flirt with girls, I'm a complete disaster with women." Kat admitted, and Victoria smiled knowing she'd fallen in love with the girl next her so easily, and she didn’t have the slightest idea.
Friday, 19h30pm
"Victoria, five minutes." Victoria heard the assistant's voice on the other side of the door of her trailer.
"Thanks, I'm coming," she said as she finished her makeup looking in her mirror. She took a deep breath, moistening her lips perfectly aware of what would happen today. The scene of the kiss, the scene of the kiss that everyone was waiting for, surely that would have repercussion on the part of the media, the fans... She was a professional, already had kissed so many different actors in front of the screens of the cameras, but why now did you feel that way? Maybe because it was her best friend that she was deeply in love and that she had never kissed before.
"It's just a kiss, Fontaine. You can do that, a professional kiss.” She repeated to herself as a mantra to keep her head in the right place. "Let's get this over with."
Upon entering the set, she encountered Kat immersed in a conversation with Hunt, it seemed that both were discussing the script, when Kat saw her, gave a passionate smile, the same smile she always gave when saw Victoria.
"Hey, Vic." She said approaching.
"What was that?" Victoria pointed slightly at Hunt, who was already on the other side of the set with Holly.
"Oh, I was just talking to him about the kissing scene, I was thinking the scene would be more shocking if it was in Selina's office instead of the parking lot."
"And he liked the idea?"
"He said he found it interesting and that we could go through my line of reasoning, honestly I think he liked it." Kat gave a chuckle.
"Everyone in their positions!" Hunt's voice echoed across the set, he took his place in his chair.
"Anyways, are you ready?" Kat smiled.
"Always," Victoria said.
"Okay, then." Kat winked and smiled, heading for the stage.
Fuck, fuck. You got this, Fontaine.
Kat took her place in Victoria's office, leaning against the table, Victoria positioned herself behind the wooden doors to make her grand entrance.
"So let's make that clear. I want that passionate kiss, you are madly in love and for the first time you are ignoring your principles, and allowing it to happen,” Hunt said and both agreed. "All ready? And ACTION.” He said, at the sound of his voice, Victoria opened the doors of Selina's office, facing Kat, who turned to her with her arms folded.
"Oh, if this is not an unexpected surprise," Victoria said, taking two steps toward Kat. "What can I do for you, agent?"
"I came here to say..." Kat disengaged from the table, biting her lips, hesitant just as Alexis would be in that situation. "...I admit, I was wrong."
"So you finally admit it?" Victoria smiled triumphantly.
"About the case, not about you. I still think you're worthless, Di Santis." Kat snapped. "I just came here to apologize, nothing more. I still have my doubts "
Victoria took a few more steps toward her until she was close enough.
"At this point I thought we've already gotten over this." Victoria's voice became a mere whisper, she lightly touched Kat's cheek. "Admit it, you like me. Even if your instincts tell you otherwise. "
"I do not—"
"...You feel the same attraction, the need to be close to me, I know you do." Victoria continued to stare into the depths of Kat's blue eyes.
Kat moved away, shaking her head.
"Do not do it. You know perfectly well that we can’t."
"Why not?" Victoria whispered.
"You know the reason." Kat turned to the door and walked over to her. "You and I are very different, Selina."
"Is that so?" Victoria crossed her arms. "Do you know what I think? You're lying to yourself. "
"I'm?"
"Admit it at once you want me as much as I want you," Victoria said. Kat touched on the door handle, ready to leave the office, with her back to Victoria, she took a deep, hesitant.
It was when Kat lifted her head and looked at Victoria, and Victoria could see the desire in her eyes, burning like fire, she marched toward Victoria, certain of what she was doing, and just as surely she touched the diva's cheeks and brought her into a passionate kiss.
Victoria grabbed Kat's leather jacket and brought Kat closer to her, holding tight, Kat's lips were delicate, warm and soft against hers, she was completely addictive, even if she did not know it. And Victoria, like a junkie, having finally tasted her drug for the first time, could not let that moment slip away so easy. Kat was being sweet, kissing her in a passionate way, just like in the script, and should not have tongue, it should be a totally professional kiss. But... Victoria took advantage of the cue and bite lightly on Kat's lower lip, taking out a silent groan from Kat in response. Kat's fingers went into her blond hair, squeezing them lightly, while Victoria boldly asked for permission with her tongue to enter Kat's mouth, which surprisingly allowed her. She curled her tongue against Kat's, finally feeling her for the first time, starting a slow, wet kiss. A damn good kiss.
Kat back away seconds later, which seemed like forever, she was still close, her forehead touching Victoria's, panting and red-lipped. Victoria stared at those perfect blue eyes, Kat watching her in surprise and shock. But there was something else... something she could not tell what it was, maybe desire?
"What the hell was that?" Kat asked quietly, a small smile on her face. She was not following the script.
"I have not the faintest idea," Victoria replied with a smirk back, bringing her face close again and kissing her lips lightly.
"And.... CUT." Thomas said seconds later, the two of them turned to him. "That was..."
"Extremely pornographic, I loved it!" Addison interrupted him with a smile on her cheek, Hunt looked at her with disapproval.
"I suppose it was... as it should be, but I realized that you both left the script for a few seconds, however I believe we can use that kiss on the scene. Congratulations, you two.” He said.
Kat ran her hand through her hair with a smile on her face at Hunt's words. Victoria was still shocked by the kiss, but she managed to draw a smile from her face.
"You’re a damn good kisser, Fontaine. Thomas loved." Kat laughed, her lips still red. "And I'm sure the fans will love it too." She left a kiss on Victoria's cheek and left smiling.
"I do not think they were the only ones who liked it," Victoria said, touching her lips as she watched her walk away.

I'm doing a play!!
Drumroll please...Christina D. Eskridge has had her professional Manhattan theatrical debut in On Striver's Row at the Metropolitan Playhouse. We opened last night, May 26th and I couldn't be more thankful and excited. It's crazy how all the moments before now have led to this one. This moment, getting to play Lily Livingston and tell the story of the Van Strivens and Cobina Van Striven's debut party. It's truly an honor. Not only am I doing what I love but between my last show and this one, I have been lucky enough to meet some of the most genuine and talented people I've shared the stage with. I wish words could express the warm feeling of home I get when I walk into the theatre each night. The cast, the set, my costume, my new found friends, our director, the audience. It all draws me in, wraps around me like a blanket and reminds me that all I have to do when I step into the space, is be right where I am, tell the story and enjoy living through Lily. Nothing else really matters. After Monday night's preview show a cast mate and I realized we have a mutual friend. His roommate and I were in RENT together with CCMT waaaaayyyyy back when. Before I left the Bay Area. Before Dougie. Before I realized what I was put on this earth to do. Before I was truly living. I was talking with him about moving to the city and how hard it is to transition from the place you've always known and build anew somewhere else. People do it every day but there is a unique quality and toughness about New York and being an artist we both acknowledge can get the better of you if you're not careful. It can creep under your skin and make you itch to leave or take a job that distracts you from your true pursuits. But each time I feel down, frustrated or tired of this place, something like seeing an old friend and cast mate pulls me back in. I remembered how much I've given up to be here. How I've saved and cried and made tough choices. How many babies' births and family gatherings I've missed. How many times I've left Dougie home for longer than I wanted to due to auditions, rehearsals or shows. I remembered how many lyrics I've learned and how many voice lessons I've had. All the hours of training. All of this led me to this moment. This show. Last nights opening. I'm so thankful for this role. So thankful for this play by Mr. Abram Hill. I'm thankful for the history and legacy of those who came before me and made this awesome profession available and accessible for someone like me. I'm thankful for today. This moment. I chatted with my dad the other night and he shared with me some family history. I didn't realize that his grandfather (my great-granddaddy Eskridge) was the first African American to vote for president in Carroll County Mississippi. He was a civil rights activist, helping blacks register to vote and contributed greatly to making this world a better place. Wow. What a legacy. I told my dad, everything happens for a reason. He told me this story now because I'm ready to hear it. I've been knee deep in black history for the past month and am enjoying understanding the time my character grew up in. There's so much I'll never experience in real life, thankfully. But, I am grateful to have the opportunity to take myself, and the audience back, and immerse us in another time. A time with real people who have feelings, hopes and dreams. A time we think we are separated from by space, technology and decades of evolution, but our basic needs and wants to be seen haven't changed. I get to play Lily Livingston for the next month. I'm grateful to help tell her story and make her seen. So, the moral of the story is: dreams come true. You have to work and plan and sacrifice but they don't let you down if you pursue with passion. My dream of doing theatre in New York City is happening right now. I'm a part of this amazing play that is so filled with love, it's bursting at the seams. I'm trying to hold onto this moment and not let it slip by unnoticed. I'm trying so hard to be present and enjoy each step in this journey. Sometimes it's hard not to let the day wash over over me like a wave of water because my days are full. Between Kaiser, auditions, learning new material, shows, trying to keep up with everyone's growing children, (my nephews are graduating high school 😳), sometimes it feels hard to pinpoint exactly what's happening and the feelings I have moment to moment. But as I write I'm very aware. I'm proud. I'm excited. I'm joyful. I'm savoring this moment and open to whatever the next one brings. I am Christina D. Eskridge, the New York actress and I am thankful.
