kicking my feet and giggling at damon spending the rest of his human life tormented by the possibility of never seeing stefan again, not finding peace until he finally has his brother in his arms in the afterlife despite marrying the girl of his dreams… his very own eternity of misery….........

#i'm not even going to bother touching on the d/c relationship with a 10 foot pole lol #like yeah that's a girl comforting her rapist who's also her brother in law and assuring him he's totally going to heaven. as you do #anyway tvd finale is just a mashup of swan song + carry on #little brother tells his big brother to live the apple pie life with the girl of his dreams #then proceeds to sacrifice himself to save the world/town #followed by reunion in heaven #i don't have the screencaps atm but the whole conversation abt finding peace reminded me of the scene with dean in the car with cass #right after sam's jumped in the cage #and dean's anguished over sam and cass asks him whether he wants peace or freedom #wherein the peace vs freedom dichotomy representated a life with vs without his little brother (respectively)#ANYWAY #show went to shit after s3/4 lol no way anyone sensible was going to stick around for the delena show
