Well, here's a thought I just had - triggered by a bts gif from Biblebuild's scene at the pool, and remembering how Build's wailing was even MORE distressing and heart-rending in the bts than what they put on-screen during the ep:

How many people in that compound heard Pete banshee'ing over Vegas's body and came running because they thought PETE was dying?

I'd bet money THAT'S why somebody was there fast enough to keep Vegas from bleeding out.
