Hey, I was curious how do you make your picture edits?

honestly, photoshop and throwing images on top of things until i like it. it's a bit of a process that's hard to explain in detail without having a focus point, but honestly finding a good psd that fits your character/aesthetic is a great start ( i use @somresources for most my coloring psds, and there's a whole lot of wonderful creators out there a whole variety of resources ).

if you've worked with photoshop before, it's just a matter of tossing things together until you find what works, but if you haven't messed with it much before I'd recommend finding some premade templates (you can find these by searching tags like "promo template" or "rp templates" for a start) that fit what you what to do just so you can see how they're made and how to adjust things and what different things do.

other than that, really, it's sometimes as simple as finding a screencap i like, cropping them to tumblr-friendly dimensions, and tossing my psd on top and calling it a day, and sometimes it's more involved.

if you don't have photoshop, photopea is a great free browser-based alternative, and there are other free open-source programs like gimp that are powerful tools but sometimes have a bigger learning curve.

i'm sorry if this is vague but honestly it's about as much as i can offer without doing an actual walkthrough of a project and alas i don't have the oomph for that right now, lmao. but there's also just lots of resources online and in youtube for tips and tricks and things for all sorts of programs! the amount of times i google ' how to xyz in photoshop ' all the time is absurd, lol.
