#i'ma go thru my drafts and queue a tonof stuff

sharing some thoughts abt mine n jean's engagement ^_^

beforehand we'd have a discussion abt marriage (initiated by me bc yk) to make sure we're on the Same Page. we very much are ! obviously lol. i'm nervous abt it but it goes smoothly. jean's like "of Course i want to marry u silly!! i gave u a promise ring for a reason!!" anyways we're both very excited and giddy over both,, wanting to marry each other :33

we're so excited we end up doing like.. 'half proposals' for like a month. where we just pop the question at random times :3 like we're cooking dinner and i'm making sure spaghetti noodles are cooking well so i kneel down and offer him a noodle and i 'propose' and he accepts. he offers me a switch controller and 'proposes' dramatically and i accept and we play mario kart etc etcc :33 we decide on having the #actual proposal be a surprise, so, anytime we go out on a date we both have this extra layer of giddiness to us bc like what if it's finally time. now the #actual ! proposal happens on valentine's day (this year) :3 our date was a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant and then we drove to a secluded park to stargaze, and after we've been there a while, jean proposes 🥺🥺 it's not as ~showy~ as i'd expected it to be (bc yk, it's jean-) but it's still very sweet and romantic :33

we decide our wedding would be on our anniversary (aug 30th; within the universe, our anniversary is early november, but we'd decide on a late spring wedding), but we're too excited to wait that long so we'd prob get married in secret with just us and a few family members :3 jean enjoyed it sm that when we leave he's like "we should just do this again tomorrow" lolll.. which then kicks off us joking about just repeatedly getting married in secret lol
