I just sped through book two of La Passe-Miroir in one sitting and hooly shit. Holy shit. I'd already read that one but I'd forgotten enough bits for most of the stuff to really hit and aaaaaaah. I can't wait to read the two other ones, I'd do it right now in a haze but I've been reading for a good like, seven hours straight and I'm super tired. Fuck I remember the hype I felt when I read the book years ago for the first time and yeah, same past-me, hard same. I was so excited and into that series and for once I had taste this book is a rollercoaster. Never going to be the same person again. I read that rather than watching Obi-Wan Kenobi!! What happened to me!!

#7 hours is probably a good time #i've seen i'm a pretty fast reader generally and i don't have the wordcount to compare but yeah #if it's not written too weirdly (looking at you gwtw) i can go through texts pretty fast #when i was a kid i used to read sooo many books and so fast #and then i discovered fanfics and i learnt to speak english #i haven't read actual paper books in french in such a long time #but i'm still me!#that feels very comforting #i'll make another post on that probably but yeah. that at least i've always been and i still am #it just wasn't quite the right time for it to ressurface until now #btw i am soooo drawing them #gonna start a series of characters from books i used to love as i see them in my head <3 #la passe miroir #wow i have a ramble tag now
