#i'm. man. damn.#lay rambles#outer wilds#it's about curiosity and exploration and bracing the unknown#it's about seeking knowledge and the thrill of discovery it's about looking for meaning in an inherently uncaring universe#it's about connection and loneliness and clinging to hope and letting go#it's about inevitability but also new beginnings#it is quite literally about the culmination of possibility and uncertainty#and yeah. idk. feeling very normal about this game#this is my appeal to everyone to go play outer wilds btw#if you get dizzy easily or you're afraid of outer space or the dark or tight spaces or tornadoes or deep water#or heights or large creatures or things (dis)appearing in the literal blink of an eye#parts of the game will be v uncomfortable but it's supposed to be!#and it is very much worth it#ik all that sounds super vague and abstract but i promise it Makes Sense#(and also makes me cry)
