why. am I so fucking sleepy
#'it's almost 11pm' that's nothing for me#ngl i think re writing the 'you aren't a dog' scene between crasso and cassio might have depleted my energy#it went through. four drafts. because it took me a million years to figure out how to get to the core of the conversation#and rearrange it in a way that has like. some kind of flow#i had to cut the line about pompeyo being a wild dog that dreams of being king bc ive given that line over to sulla/felix#instead it's crasso saying 'it's better to be partners' and cassio going 'so like you and pompeyo?' and crasso going#'yeah sure. but hopefully you'll be something better.'#(claps hands) sorry for your idealistic dreams for the upcoming generation crasso!#good thing you die before you see what happens
