she could’ve passed this person up as nothing more than a doppelganger ,  or maybe she was so riddled with guilt over karolina going missing that she was starting to see every tall ,  pretty blonde girl as her .  but the bracelet ,  she couldn’t shake off the fact this girl  --  who claims to  not  know who she is  --  who looks  &  talks exactly the same as karolina ,  has her bracelet strapped around her wrist .  that couldn’t be a coincidence ,  surely .  it didn’t make sense to her ,  of all the weapons their parents used against them ,  why would karolina be the one to have her memory wiped if  that’s  what this was all about ?  neither frank nor leslie were apart of what went down that day so she just ...  couldn’t wrap her head around any of this .   ‘ i’m looking for  you ,  karolina . ’   &  the other four ,  but they’re not the ones standing right in front of her .   ‘ what have they done to you ? ’   the words not necessarily directed at the other girl ,  she’s just thinking out loud .   ‘ are you  sure  you don’t remember me ?  nico ,  remember ?  known each other since we were little ? ’

There was a certain peace in walking along the Potomac River - it was reminiscent of home in some way. It seemed strange to Eponine that she could be placed somewhere in a time period of which she had no idea and still feel a greater sense of security than she’d ever known at home in her own time. When she first arrived, she spend a great deal of time questioning what was going on. Now, a week and a half later and she simply accepted it. She didn’t have much in the way of material items, but she’d found a job and a tiny apartment that suited her well enough. Being alone was common for the petite brunette, but there was safety in being alone here. Even her personality had brightened substantially and as a young woman walked past her, she found herself smiling and wanting to speak. “It’s lovely out today, isn’t it?.”

Sirius was sitting down there, holding his head with his hand as he looked around to other people. And here he was, only having a date for mutual benefits, trying to pretend he was still attracted in women. Truth was at the moment he had sat here, he had started to think about Remus and how hard it was not to show how he felt here, now. After what had happened, after Azkaban and all of this, he just felt like he couldn’t lose anyone, so he wasn’t risking it. “You know you’re not forced to stay with me.” He only said to the young woman, giving her a look. “I mean, you can.. If you want to. But I’m not gonna be angry if you don’t.”

before appearing here molly was on the hunt to find and in her head to save gert, she worried about karolina as well but finding her sister was her priority. however that all changed when she woke up in this place, alone and away from the people she now considered her family, not only that but she had aged a couple of years too. molly was hopeful to find people she knew here and it wasn’t long before she came across the familiar blonde. “karolina is that really you ?” she needed for the other to confirm it, she was often unsure on what and who to trust. “we were trying to find you, and gert, chase too.” she simply added.

betty eyes widened almost comically as she took in the sight in front of her. checkered blanket, wicker basket, stack of plates and utensils, even a cute little bundle of flowers right smack dab in the middle of the display. it was a picnic. ‘oh my god,’ betty murmured in disbelief, a slow smile creeping its way across her lips. a real, bonafide picnic. once the shock had worn off, she turned to swing her arms around karolina, hugging her tightly. ‘oh my god, this is amazing. i’ve never had a picnic before!’
