I blew through the first few items for the AC: Pocket Camp holiday event woah. And that jingle checked sofa is so freaking cute, it’s so going in my camp. The rewards for the first few items mean that you can get through a few, and also the timed goals that reward you for simply completing so many requests also helps it go a bit faster at first
Now, to get the santa pants, i need to complete o n e more request but no one has any right now. . .

Bulakenyo farmers affected by rice tariffication get loan aid
#PHnews: Bulakenyo farmers affected by rice tariffication get loan aid
CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan -- Some 700 Bulakenyo rice farmers have availed of loan assistance under the expanded Survival and Recovery Assistance Program for Rice Farmers (SURE Aid Program).
Through the initiative of the Department of Agriculture- Agricultural Credit Policy Council (DA-ACPC), Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) and the provincial government of Bulacan, the grand launching of the one-time loan assistance was held Thursday at the Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center here.
The SURE Aid Program aims to assist rice farmers whose incomes were affected by the drop in the farm gate price of palay due to the Rice Tariffication Law.
Cecilia Borromeo, president and chief executive officer of LBP, said under the program, rice farmers will have an opportunity to avail of one-time loan assistance of PHP15,000 to those who are farming one hectare and below.
"There will be no interest in their loan up to eight years," Borromeo said.
She assured the Bulakenyo farmers that LBP, in coordination with the DA, is always open to help them for their crop production, farm mechanization, food processing, agri-related projects, and agri-businesses needs.
“Alam at ramdam po namin ang mga hamon na tinatanggap ng ating mga rice farmers, kasama na ang pagbaba ng presyo ng palay, kaya’t patuloy ang Landbank at ang DA sa paghahanap ng paraan upang maipaabot ang tulong na inyong kailangan. Kami din po ay narito dahil hangad namin na maging bahagi ng patuloy na pag-unlad ng lalawigan ng Bulacan (We know and feel the challenges being faced by our rice farmers that include the drop on the price of palay. Thus, the LandBank and DA are continuously looking for ways to extend assistance to you. We are here because it is our desire to become part of the continuing progress in the province of Bulacan),” she added.
Governor Daniel Fernando said the program is a “big help” to Bulakenyo farmers who have been experiencing difficulties since the drop of the price of palay.
The provincial government, he said, is coming up with measures on how they could help address the concerning problems of the local farmers.
Fernando said a farmers’ training center is set to be built in the provincial capitol compound that will assist Bulakenyo farmers in learning advanced farming technologies and convince them to teach their children of the importance of farming.
He also believed that farming is the foundation of the nation and supporting the farmers is a way to strengthen society.
“We owe so much to our farmers. We are only as strong as the ones who are giving us strength and I can say for certain that our farmers are the source of our tenacity,” he added.
Fernando said the provincial government will also provide the farmers with suitable farming tools and seeds for their needs and financial assistance.
Meanwhile, Sixto Dionisio, a farmer from Barangay Dampol, Pulilan town thanked the DA-ACPC, LBP and the provincial government for the financial assistance given to them.
“Malaking tulong ito sa bawat isa sa amin at magsisilbing panimula sa susunod na panahon ng pagtatanim, lalo ngayon na batid naman nating lahat na lubhang mababa ang bilihan ng palay. Ang halagang ipahihiram ninyo sa aming mga magsasaka ang siyang alalay sa mga unang gastusin sa aming bukid (This is a big help for everyone and it will serve as a starter for the next planting season, especially now that we all know the decline on the prices of buying palay. The amount that you lent to us will serve as assistance in the initial expenses in our rice fields),” Dionisio said.
The farmer-beneficiaries are from the municipalities of Angat, Baliwag, Bustos, Bulakan, Calumpit, Guiguinto, Hagonoy, Norzagaray, Santa Maria, Pandi, Plaridel, Balagtas, Bocaue, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, San Miguel, San Rafael, Doña Remedios Trinidad, and the cities of Malolos and San Jose del Monte.
