This...this is almost exactly how I write the relationship he has with my OC, man. Maybe one day I should make a post about Lisa and Doffy's relationship if anyone is interested, been in talks with my husband writing quite a bit of it for the last month. 🧶 Doesn’t even try to hide his feelings for {Name} and instantly takes a position of possessiveness over them. At first it was perceived as overprotective nature, but it was much more than that. He definitely feels nothing over hurting people who get too close to them.

🧶Despite his innately cruel nature, he is very sweet and caring towards {Name}, often will spoil them with anything they could possibly want but will provide ultimatums to ensure that they stay at his side.

🧶Completely fixated by them, {Name} will constantly be in his thoughts, at any given moment, not that he minds too much.

🧶When it comes to them he is very kind, gentle and endearing (much to others’ surprise) however can be domineering and controlling. Especially if there is someone else in the mix who Doflamingo might regard as a threat for trying to take away his precious love.

🧶As it stands Doflamingo is incredibly protective over his family, but it is amplified with the target of his affections. He also ensures that it is made public knowledge that {Name} belongs to him and only him.

🧶Needs them in his company at all times, has them sit in his lap, somewhere they are in his reach. Makes sure that {Name} doesn’t go anywhere without him being by their side and will make a public show of kissing, or other affections and greatly dislikes if they pay attention to others.

🧶Doflamingo does not see any actions he takes for {Name’s} sake as bad, if he deems it necessary for their ‘protection’ or to be sent as a message. He has killed people over simply casting a suggestive glance in their direction, not much is needed to earn his wrath.

🧶To that end, hurting others is quite a common thing, but serves to make the message clear so others stay away from {Name}but also serves as a lesson to {Name} who knows to stay by his side. Since he does not at all care for those he hurts for their sake.

🧶Makes it abundantly clear that he will never give them up to anyone.
