#it just wasn't relevant to the story nightow wanted to tell#trigun#after my thesis defense I'm going to do a deepdive of the manga#like.... this is a story that is deeply concerned with what it means to be human physically and spiritually#what does it mean to be born human vs divine vs monster#at what point do we stop being humans when we augment our bodies#and throw away our morality#but#then there are people who have heads the size of beach balls and a guy who can? manipulate sound waves??#are they human?? what's their story? where do they fit into all this?#like I'm dead serious right now
