Me writing insanely bitter drafts re: DAI and media literacy and then carefully tipping them all into the trash
#I get that it's cool to decide dai is trash#but dear lord imagine thinking that the herald's divinity was a topic that was not explored#or that the consequences (lack of consequences) for discovering the truth was not a major fucking theme#I'm at a loss#literally the biggest theme of the game was how a religious movement has a power of its own completely unrelated to the origin of it#Solas practically bashes you over the head with talking about institutions#literally all of your companions are using the inquisition for their personal agendas#none of that has anything to do with belief and everything to do with power#and the herald's power didn't come from their hand but from the army belief granted them#I just...#it's a direct parallel to Solas and the elvhen gods#It's...
