wild to me how the noise of a lorry's engine idling while they offload goods to the shop next door doesn't make everyone else in hearing range want to scream, cry, throw up, and eviscerate everyone responsible for creating said noise for every agoninsing second of the excruitiating twenty minutes (objective)/four hundred years (subjective) aforementioned offloading takes. what must that existence be like for people. i imagine it is beautiful.
