i don't mean this in a bad way but sometimes it's so obvious that a story was written by an american
#just that the kind of slang they use makes me go ???#especially about location description#the first time i read “he ran two blocks” i didn't understand where legos came into the picture#and then the obvious american setting with american places like u mean to tell me these japanese people live in misisisisispipi?#and... the characterization too?? like i can't explain this at all#and i'm not trying to be mean it's just something i observed a lot from the extensive amount of anime fanfic i read#it's also easy to identify non-native english speakers 'cause the idioms they use are wild and so entertaining#whaddupmytags
