in that livestream, kurvitz confidently repeated something that he said an investor told him, that the games industry is bigger by revenue than the entire tech industry. it's not true. the tech industry is huge and revenue is in the trillions compared to the games industry's billions, so either the investor said something else and he misremembered, or the investor was lying or distorting the truth to make a point. (the claim might be true if you look at only a certain segment of the tech industry and/or count the revenue differently) either way, de continues to be the misinformation fandom.
