Can someone explain the whole "female rage" bullshit because not one of these movie women are empowering examples
#''fEmALe rAgE'' but it's just young women idolizing fictional abused women#it's not even empowering because they kill their abusers. because they never escape their situation#i usually see dani from midsommar and pearl#nothing more admirable and empowering that being groomed by a nazi murder cult#or being trapped in an unhappy marriage and becoming an axe murderer#but slay i guess lol#what bothers me the most about it is the deeper gender stuff of course#the sentiment that there's some inherently unique form of rage to women#that's different from all other emotions#is it like... women have to pretend to be ok all the time so when they eventually snap they SNAP?#if that's the case i still think folks are choosing the wrong fictional women to idolize#it's just more of tiktok culture reinventing oppositional sexism
