#at least it's short. 50ish minutes only#it's so. uninspired and pointlessly miserable i almost hated it. then 30-ish minutes in a scene so Batshit happens i was obsessed.#and then it was weird in a lame way again but the music slapped#anyway. mah#it's fine whatever i didn't expect much i just watched it bc it was short#i did in fact set out to watch belladonna of sadness but it is the perfect length aka 90 mins and i didn't feel up for it#and midori is kinda like. in my brain. trailing behind belladonna of sadness i just went w that#but i did find out there's a live action remake from 2016 and it's almost frame per frame exactly the same from the little bits i saw ?!?!#which was SO FUNNY#but somehow they managed to stretch it to a 90 mins or smth ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! WHAT HAPPENED THERE#oh nay
