bruh for the most part even the poorest of the poorest poor people will share their precious bread with another hungry person, so the justification of Not Enough Food is just you being an asshole
#i don't think all dutch and swedish ppl are like this. many have pointed out that this isn't normal#it's just a People Being Assholes thing#because every culture has those#man lotsa times i've been at somebody's house and when its dinner time and i can't eat their food#the mum will prepare me some pasta. every australian home has pasta#its occuring to me that the Natural Desire To Feed People isn't universal... and thats sad#like what kind of asshole parents are these. like are you saying a child has to be yours in order to get food in your house#do you not give snacks to your guests??#i dunno it just baffles me#one time i OVERFED my friend because i was afraid of underfeeding her#(a mistake i'd made before because i was distracted by video games)#and like we share snacks with our guests all the time. we have containers of nuts#i remember one time i had another kid over and she was super poor and hungry so she had like 6 rounds of toast#i cannot FATHOM resenting allowing her that bread and vegemite
