#alan wake#wails forever. alan :(#mine#my art#fanmix#just wanna talk about symbolism here#i chose the black splash for the aw2 cover to symbolize the lake/ocean/dark place#its purposefully obscuring alan's name. rendering it incomprehensible#its in black and white because of how long alan's been in the dark place#and also to reference the black and white title screen of the show night springs#the aw1 playlist is listened to in order which is something you can easily do#something that can happen naturally#but aw2? you have to actively switch songs. you have to be in control of the story. you cant let it get out of your grasp you NEED to be#aware of it at all times.#because at best it will annoy you#at worst it will show you an entirely different part of the story#out of order out of context#sorry for being pretentious about this. idgaf i love meta shit
