Eddie telling his Abuela that he's like a rock and she tells him the only rock he could possibly be is a sugar cube rearranged something in my heart. She's so right, and it hurts terribly to think he doesn't know that! 😭🥺💔

Also, Eddie trying to have sex with Raul even though he was so uncomfortable with the idea was heartbreaking to read. That's probably about when the tears started. That poor sweet baby, I just want him to feel safe!!

Ok. Ok ok ok ok. I don't have the words to do justice to how incredible this scene was. But Eddie following Buck back to the loft and caressing his hair on instinct and being so relieved that Buck accepted his love was just complete emotional devastation. 😭😭😭😭😭💗💗💗💗💗 It's the TENDERNESS!!!!

I do always love writing little things like that for Eddie and his Abuela. We know he's an Abuela's boy! We know! I always think she was the one person from his childhood who really saw and got him and understood that he's a little squishy marshmallow, not a roCK 😭

You know, I just look at lovely sweet Eddie (who I can't see as anything but ace/demi) who sacrifices so much of himself for other people and stays in relationships because it's expected of him, and I just think sex would be a difficult thing for him emotionally. Even the tiny bit we saw of him and Shannon, we know there are so many deeper issues there that they're both avoiding and maybe the sex itself was fine and all, but it's super clear 2 seconds after that he has all sorts of walls up and sure, they can have the sex, but when he admits he doesn't trust her? And hides her and kicks her out? Liiikkeeee, bro. My dude. Those are some hardcore issues there. So of course I like to explain them through asexuality 🤣 because that's what I know and understand!

I love me some sweet, tender, soft soft Buddie husbands, too. I just love how they take care of each other and how vulnerable and intimate they are together. 🥹🥰🥹🥰 Their relationship is so special and I love writing and reading and watching it!
