psa. ok. i think i am gonna start using icons. i do feel weird having a non-actor's face attached to anything remotely nsfw (and frankly i feel weird about using 80s molly ringwald attached to anything nsfw) so i'll leave those threads iconless. if anyone is uncomfortable with me using damiano as ferry's fc, i'll drop the icons for those threads as well.

#( * psa. )#i'm trying to tiptoe around doing anything problematic #but i already use a silent film fc for chauvelin and since silent films are from the 1920s john barrymore is most assuredly dead #and i know some people think using any deceased fc is problematic full stop #so i'm?? already doing something that people find fault with and i'm probably doing a dozen other things here that people find problematic #i'm trying really hard not to do things wrong or to offend anyone but i think no matter what i do i can't please everyone #so. i'm not aware of damiano objecting to use as an actor. i'm not aware of anything problematic or hurtful he's done.#if he's said or done something i'm not aware of that makes this a problematic choice then i apologise and i'll change #but for now this is a lowkey blog for writing with friends and i want to use the fc that fits the character #sorry for the tag rant but yeah i'm dead serious here i've been sent cruel anons for so much shit in the past when i didn't mean any harm #i'm desperately trying my best not to step on toes or do things wrong or hurt anyone but it feels like i always do #everyone in the rpc has a different idea of what's problematic (beyond stuff we all agree on like inc*st and p*dophilia fuck that shit)#and it's difficult to please everyone? i guess? is what i'm saying?#just. please don't assume i'm a horrible person for a fc choice when i don't know if i'm doing anything wrong or horrible
