I'm still reeling from and thinking so hard about the “You can do things without me! …You’re so good at it” from Chess to Kate because on one hand I can assume what it means but also what does that mean???!?
#kate clearly doesn't want chess to leave and has her capital i Issues with that#but the idea she's so strikingly independent other times makes sense given her nature but also?? contrasts everything we see in the show#like kate is very much independent in the second act but with chess as well? it's hard to imagine#i love my theatre appreciation class it means i can think more about scripts. unfortunately none of them are watt but whatever whatever#i'm just like this normally anyways#we are the tigers#kate we are the tigers#chess we are the tigers#no one talks about this and it's probably because they're normal and i look into things too hard that may or may not mean anything LOL
