Congratulations again on your huge milestone my love! Can you tell us how you got into writing? ❤️
omg thank you so much love, I appreciate you lots! so the story is a bit messy but I’ll try and keep it brief?!? but also:
tw: anxiety/mental health (it’s minor but still)
so I began writing when I had a really bad bout of anxiety—and I couldn’t sleep. I’d fallen across some fanfiction on Pinterest (of all places) and just felt so inspired. I made my first tumblr, began reading a lot, and then one day, I had an idea for a story, and I churned a lot of my feelings into it. wrote it in complete isolation, told no one, and then I just found it helped?
I made friends, and built a community and I felt so seen? and also not broken—like I felt at the time. and I stayed there for a long time, writing fanfic for characters.
I did bounce around some fandoms for a bit—and in my personal life had an operation, then another, and struggled really badly with just keeping myself afloat. eventually, I shared with a therapist how I found writing really helpful! and we kinda worked together to find ways where I could channel my feelings into it, but also not go too far the other way and become obsessive about it (something I do).
which ironically, is how I wrote some of my first pieces of original work, because it was part of some work me and my therapist was doing.
from there, I wrote/contributed some pieces of non-fiction for mental health websites—which I’m still so proud are up and thriving ✨—but I missed fanfic, and thankfully I fell into call of duty at the end of 2022, and then through the upcoming last of us adaption, found narcos last year and then here we are. now I know you lovely lot 🥹🌝
I feel I rambled so much there 😂 but that’s the story of how jo came to be here with you all 🩷✨

HETALIA OFFICE MASTERPOST
Lol you know The Office? Its good but what if it was like,,, H e t a l i a?
ALLIES
America: Baaaaasically Michael from The Office. He likes leading and cares about the team, but can be a little... out of hand... sometimes. Canada: He sits in the corner and no one knows he’s there, but he’s always pulling his weight in projects. China: Always calling for tech support. Always. It annoys the heck out of whomever’s sitting next to him. France: Is the one who “accidentally” sends an email around to the people at the office which has “inappropriate” content.  England: Getting up in arms because either America’s being incompetent or he’s fed up with France’s nonsense. Russia: “It’d be a shame if something were to happen, da?” (he doesn’t work well with other people, too many HR complaints).
AXIS
Germany: He isn’t the boss but he is the annoying backseat driver who isn’t even second in command. Italy: “Lets go to a ✨𝒌𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒐𝒌𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒓✨ after all this guys and someone else can pay!!!11!!” Japan: Forgets about the work and is watching anime with his screens turned away from everyone else.
BALTICS
Estonia: Guess who’s 𝓣𝓮𝓬𝓱 𝓢𝓾𝓹𝓹𝓸𝓻𝓽 👁️ 👄 👁️ Lithuania: "Okay you want me to do that? I’ll do it just dont fire me pls dont” Latvia:"Hey boss what about the fact that you’re doing it wrong?”
EASTERN EUROPE
Romania: Actually does the work but doesn’t tell anyone when he’s done so he can sneak off and do whatever Bulgaria: Microsoft paint obsessed Ukraine: Cares for everyone like the epic mom friend she is Belarus: She doesn’t work there. She’s just there. And so far no one’s had balls enough to tell her to go.
MEDITERRANEAN EUROPE
Spain: "Hey guys I know you didn’t ask but ill make you all lunch! It’s going to be pasta! For the fifteenth day in a row!” Romano: RAGEWORKRAGEWORKRAGEWORKRAGEWORK- Greece: That one person with the “hang in there bby” poster as well as countless cat photos in frames. He also does his work but he’s real quiet about it. Turkey: Likes to hang out by the water cooler and gossip. Cyprus: Best friends with Greece but works surprisingly well with Bulgaria (or, he does, after an incident of him stealing his yogurt). Vatican City: Keeps a bible with him but follows most things he’s told to do. Monaco: She’s a seceratary but only because she’s able to get out of more work that way.
NORDIC EUROPE
Denmark: Keeps a little box of “creativity legos” on his desk which he plays with. He works in Human Resources and loves it. Sweden: Takes orders for the company’s product and is very organized. Keeps a little picture of his family on his desk which he’ll talk to anyone about. Finland: Has his headphones on all the time and sCrEams at anyone who dare interrupt his work. He also coordinates all of the holidays around the office, as well as parties. Norway: He has a thing for the cute guy in HR and keeps trying to meet him “causally” over by the water cooler. Has a plasma ball on his desk because it looks cool. Iceland: His brother got him an unpaid internship (which he hates) and so he spends a lot of time complaining and texting Norway angry gifs while he goes and hangs out with others his age in the breakroom.
LOW COUNTRIES
Belgium: Brings in cookies for everyone every Monday.  Netherlands: Works with Sweden and the two of them have desks next to each other. He helps Sweden when he’s having a prank war with Denmark. Luxembourg: Some higher-up executive who comes down every once in a while to flaunt his awesome-ness and dole out orders.
CENTRAL EUROPE
Austria: Plays classical music off his computer but without earbuds b/c he doesn’t know how. He’s low-key annoying but doesn’t know it. Slovakia: Has the coolest mousepad ever. He also contributes a substantial amount to most meetings. Czechia: Set her space up to be the neatest in the office. She’s one of the more successful members. Hungary: Made a pinterest board of house ideas in her spare time which she makes Austria look at. She doesn’t really care about the work, she’s just there. Switzerland: Financials. He also calls home at 12pm every day to check in on his sister and make sure everything’s okay.  Poland: Decorated the fuck out of his cubicle. Prussia: Has a whole collection of weird-ass ties which he switches. Some say he’s never worn the same one twice!
ASIA
Hong Kong: Also interning, but he doesn’t hate it and takes it instead as an opportunity to take photos of people and make them either cursed or into memes. Macau: Is the second-in-command in the office and basically controls everything since america isn’t great at it. South Korea: Water cooler? He likes to hang out with Turkey. Thailand: Keeps a cool and ornate whiteboard which he likes to take notes on. Vietnam: “What do you mean I have to work with someone else?!?!?!” Taiwan: She works under Denmark in human resources and often has to resolve conflicts. India: Sometimes invites Vietnam to play chess with him online on their monitors.
AFRICA
Egypt: Stole some of Denmark’s legos without his knowledge so he could build too. He’s pretty bored even though he does everything. Seychelles: Sits by the window and doesn’t get her work done since she’s distracted. Cameroon: Playing pranks on Australia when he gets bored, mostly after he’s finished his work.
OCEANIA + CARIBBEAN
Australia: “OY MATE SO YA WANT TO FOIGHT??!!” (he’s on for that prank war) New Zealand: Sits next to Cyprus and sometimes falls asleep, but Cyprus thinks he’s *kinda* cute and doesn’t wake him. Other than that, he’s really good at running meetings. Cuba: Brings fancy chocolates or other things which he takes out to share with special people on special occasions. He’s pretty nonchalant but comes off as intimidating for some.

we have talked a few times and im sorry for this but you are the most accepting and easiest person to talk to honestly i dont have many people in my life i can tell anything real to. but the thing is ive been thinging about relapsing a lot more since i broke up with my boyfriend and i work with him so it makes work depressing and impossible to get through a day without crying sorry this is anon but i am scared ily dont hate me i am not trying to stress you out
ok wow first lemme just say: I DO NOT HATE U. EVER.
and don’t be srry i don’t have a lotta ppl irl i can tell my shit to so i get it. pls know u can always ALWAYS ALWAYS come to me, and u dont gotta be scared to come off anon. i get it and it’s ok if u prefer it that way- but pls know i dont keep it on alot bc i get hate and then i turn it off bc i gotta look out for myself and dont post all the hate bc i dont wanna bring yall down or give them the satisfaction of knowing i have given it a read and response. so u can message me or make a sideblog or idk im just saying this so if it’s off later u dont blame yrself or feel scared to come off anon. ok sorelapse is a real thing and it’s fucked and hard and addiction is fucked up and a real life struggle and we dont treat addicts w the real tenderness, respect, kindness, and acceptance they deserve. but u DO deserve it. and there are hotlines, apps, churches, groups, chatrooms/boards, and sites that are more versed in what are the appropriate things to say to u- i say this bc while i’ve been thru it w loved ones i have not myself struggled w addiction w substances. my addictions were to self harm and victimhood so those are the things i searched for help on. but if it’s alright i’d like to give u some tips or things i used and have heard work for addicts of substances
places like i said like churches, groups, chatrooms, sites, apps, hotlines the apps and hotlines are good if u cant travel or want to talk to ppl who wont share their story bc maybe u cant hear it like its not the kinda help ur looking for. hotlines are sometimes tricky bc some of those folks are not educated they are volunteers so judgment leaks thru and in that case u ask to be redirected and report that volunteer so hopefully they dont repeat that kinda mess to other vulnerable folks looking for help
make a list of things, anything. list of foods u like to order, list of things that make u clench yr teeth, what were yr fave gifts you’ve ever got, style icons of urs, hobbies u tried that annoyed u, movies u can always watch, places on yr skin u hate being touched, any list of anything it doesnt have to be the usual thing of “what to live for” bc when yr depressed those kinds of things arent easy to think of. but if u get a list going of like “best things ive ever touched” “sounds that make me laugh” “trends that were stupid af” “popular things that i didnt like n couldnt figure out why they were popular” “weirdest ppl ive met” well those things might get u on a roll of good memories or laughing or seeing that theres more to yr life than what has been occupying yr thoughts
dancing. dance in yr room in the dark. clear some space. put on some headphones. lock yr door. do it in the shower. just dance. i had to start w closing my eyes and picking songs that i was taken by emotionally. songs that made me jump and slamdance tbh and then it’s just gotten more and more something im not as ashamed w. i spent a date night w james just dancing and then we ya know ya know bc the dancing got so wild. now i make playlists of songs that set moods for diff kinds of dancing
watch shows w ppl who arent doing better than u. they dont live in fancy places, they dont do much w their lives, they dont dress better than u, they struggle, they arent eating good food u dont have access to. iasip. freaks and geeks. letterkenny. undeclared. jake and amir. tpb. the state. youtube. tiktok/vine comps. lots of these kinds of vibes on youtube
podcasts. improv comedy podcasts tbh saved my life. comedy bang! bang! has best of’s those are good ones to start w. improv4humans bc matt besser has great guests of some of the best improvisers out there and he has musical guests and they’ll play a song and the improvisers will use it as inspo for a scene
make things. moodboards. pinterest. playlists. fill a shopping cart and tell yrself “i’ll get it when i win the lotto and move away from anyone who knows me so i can be the me i wanna be w/out judgement” make tea. make a meal if u can. make yr bed. clean one thing. clean the sink. hang some clothes or go thru yr drawers and clean them out. throwing things out feels hard at first but then it’s nice bc u feel less bogged down
find something to throw yr obsession at for a bit. something that wont hurt u as bad, being obsessed in general isnt good. everything in moderation irl. too much of something is bad just as much as too less of it can be bad. but yr looking for something lower risk here and if u gotta be obsessed w a celeb or a song or a food that’s ok. yr focusing the energy on something that isnt a substance so be proud of it
give yrself a break. give yrself some credit. everyday isnt gonna be on the “best of your name here’s days” but sometimes u just live to live bc that’s what u do. u wait it out and get thru it and wait for the sun to come back out. and if u cant get outta bed. or if you hate yr job and wanna scream- that’s normal it’s more normal than always being happy ppl just dont like talking abt bc society kinda trains us to hide our fucked upness idk why but thats how it is. they dont wanna tell us to do preventative care until we’re in the pits
all in all- it comes down to (at least for me) not planning w an endgoal in mind. it’s not over til it’s over and rlly we dont know. it’s all fluctuating and not meant to be a finish line we cross and then suddenly we’re done and we dont suffer anymore and the feeling of shit is gone or the risk of relapse is gone and the depression is cleared away never to be seen again. it’s not realistic. bc it isnt real. on the real- risk is always there and the downs and ups mix and run together and depression is not curable (this isnt something to be miserable over tho) depression isnt curable, yeah ok, but it is manageable. it can be quieted down from time to time and if u keep up w yr healthy routines and coping mechanisms- depression will still find its way to u bc the real world is not something u can manage. death in the family, loss of money or job, car breaking down, sickness outta nowhere, depression grows wild when these very real life stressors come into our lives. but all that too eventually gets easier and easier at least from a “ok i have some distance now” standpoint. and then as those days get more and more btwn it u can then be like “oh wow, ive made it thru X amount of days! ive put up w it this long! whats one more day, whats one more week, hell might as well see how much prouder i can feel once ive got a year under my belt!” plus u will be more capable of handling the bullshit if u know u can still find some safe places in yr coping skills or friends or resources.
ok so this is prob a mess but bottomline know this:
I love  you and i will be here the best i can should u ever wanna come spill or if u need me to just send u pics of my dog or boring pics of knickknacks or selfies or memes or links or anything just tell me what u need and i will try my best to show u my love. i hope u can see that u reaching out is just already a HUGE major step in the right direction, give yrself credit! thats amazing! yr already doing it pumpkin look at u! it’s hard ik. but i also know if u are capable of saying u have this problem going on, u are capable of getting thru this. u are a light in the world. u offer goodness and u offer yrself and that’s enough. even if yr fucked up right now- u are contributing to the world by simply being u. there is literally NO ONE ELSE WHO IS YOU. so u are unique by definition. i hope u get something from this post and if not i hope it strikes an idea or thing u can do that will help. i hope u know im here and i hope u see this.
i am sending u all my light and love and good vibes and i can’t wait to see or hear from u again. u are never bothering me, a burden, or stressing me out. tbh it stresses me more that u might be struggling and not telling me or anyone. i dont ever want u to suffer in silence bc u feel guilt or scared or anything. u deserve to have a place to voice yr shit. im here to listen if u do wanna tell me anymore.
everyone else-if this helped or if u can think of anything that might help anon or anyone else- feel free to reblog and get some good NONJUDGMENTAL advice or tips and tricks going, but please please please remember to not come off as judgey or flood it with your drama. keep ur drama out of this post so anon or anyone else doesn’t get triggered by it.
and dont ignore my rule and do it anyway and then say some shit like “ik u said not to but i think this will help lol sorry” like we need this post to stay on this vibe that i set in motion and not a struggle contest or dick measuring or all sad personal reminiscing. go make yr own post for that this is NOT the space.

magine it’s your job to write the Common App prompts. What’s your goal? Simple. To give as many students as possible a chance to say something meaningful about themselves. So what kind of prompts do you write? Really open prompts that consider all kinds of students and allow for maximum freedom of expression. So the writers don’t care which prompt you choose.
Now imagine you’re a college admissions reader. What do you care about? You want to know: is this student intelligent? Can she write? Will she contribute something of value to our campus? So does it matter which prompt you use to show those things? No. So the readers don’t care either.
So if the writers and the readers aren’t obsessing, why should you? Here’s what to do instead:
Write your personal statement. Then rewrite it. Then get feedback. Then rewrite it some more. Rewrite it until it’s awesome. Until it’s so awesome you’re excited to share it with your friends. Once you’re at that point, chances are you’ll look at your essay and go, “Oh that kinda’ goes with Prompt 1.”

These Healthy Eating Rules Keep Rosie Huntington-Whitely In Top Shape
The lovely attributes of British model and former Victoria’s Secret angel Rosie Huntington-Whitely are the envy of many. I, for one, am particularly obsessed with her smooth, glowing skin. While I realize that genes (and estheticians) may have a role to play in the gorgeous complexions of others, I always want to know what those glowing gals are eating—because not only is a nice complexion pretty (like having a built-in filter!), it’s also a sign of good health, which is kinda important, too 😉
When it comes to RHW, my hunch wasn’t wrong. The model is a devotee of Dr. Nigma Talib’s Younger Skin Starts in the Gut, a book about how certain foods can contribute to the aging process (and acne, puffiness, uneven tone, dark circles…). Talib’s dietary recommendations focus on eliminating gluten, wine, dairy, and sugar. (We’ve tested the no-sugar theory at PD—and the results of a sugar detox can be profound!) Talib also promotes frequent consumption of mineral-rich veggies, including cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and kale. Furthermore, the philosophy espouses that consuming onions, garlic, turmeric, rosemary, thyme, oregano, sage, and avocado can help support the liver.
“We just shared so many of the same philosophies,” Huntington-Whitely told E! News. “Once you change some things in your diet and you remove certain things, you’re going to see a difference in your skin and a difference in your well-being.”
Indeed, healthy dietary changes may affect more than the numbers on the scale—eating well can revamp other areas of your life, too. “Right now I’m on Nigma’s plan, which is: no dairy, no gluten, no sugar, and no alcohol! And it’s been really tough, it is, but there’s no doubt in my mind that start to see and feel results; it’s really been transformative for me. I can feel it in my skin, I can feel it in my body, I feel lean right now, and I feel strong, and I feel energized.”
The results of Huntington-Whitely’s diet shift were so convincing that her fiancé Jason Statham hopped aboard Talib’s regimen: ”He’s equally obsessed about this as I am,” the model said.
Of course, eliminating certain popular foods isn’t always easy, but Huntington-Whitely stresses that it’s important to be patient with yourself.  “I miss a lot of things,” she said. “I miss a glass of wine, I miss my cheese plates, and I miss my croissants. But interestingly you can still eat so beautifully and so wholesome and you can really be still so satisfied through healthier choices. It’s just switching your mindset a little bit and it takes a couple of weeks to kind of adjust.”
Another way Huntington-Whitely stays sane while maintaining dietary restrictions is by following the 80/20 lifestyle, which advises eating healthy 80% of the time and allowing yourself to indulge 20% of the time. This may translate to letting yourself enjoy items on the naughty list at parties or special occasions but sticking to healthy stuff at home.
“Enjoy life and, you know, celebrations!” she said. “My kind of balance is trying to eat really well at home and then when I go out…I try and still make smart choices but you know, if I’m going to have some French fries, or if I’m going to share a pudding or a dessert with somebody, you want to enjoy those things in life.”
Whatever balance Huntington-Whitely has going, it seems to be working for her!
