i said on the tags of a post once that mulcahy isn't homophobic and that was true but like it's just not that simple obviously and it bothered me a bit to leave it at that but the post was already a mile long and i can't elaborate further without like talking for an hour and not really saying anything by the end of it. anyway the only purpose the statement needed to serve in that post was that it's nice for gay students at the school for the hard of hearing mulcahy works at post-canon that their chaplain isn't homophobic.

#also no one read the post it was me rambling so it would matter only to me anyway.#And it was specifically about him after the show... the various layers of thinking and not-thinking about it would change over the show #me.txt #mashposting #ur gay and having a hard time of it but you aren't sure if you can talk to your chaplain about it directly and then one day he and the man #he shares a house with kind of put their arms around each other in front of you which was kind of incredibly risky tbh but they wanted to #subtly communicate to you that youre safe and the experience of seeing that is profound and significant to you and the memory is branded on #your memory for life.#the boyfriend in this scenario is an oc btw.#yeah mulcahy's still a priest idgaf. if he decides he can do what he wants and god doesn't care then it doesn't matter #king of considering his vow to an invisible higher power to be null and void and no one can prove him wrong so he's right
