Tim Hetherington
“I want to record world events, big History told in the form of a small history, the personal perspective that gives my life meaning and significance. My work is all about building bridges between myself and the audience.”    -Tim Hetherington.
War photography doesn’t seem like something I’d want to go into professionally, but I’ve always enjoyed looking at. In some “dark” way, it offers me a small grasp of reality. It lets me see the things that I know are out there but I don’t get to experience from my backyard. Tim Hetherington’s photography held no filters. The audience got to see it all, the carnage, destruction, emotion and reality of war.
included is the memory of Tim Hetherington by Sebastian Junger.
