like crazy literally WAS played on the radio last week!!!

on a kpop specific show yeah, but if people flooded the show/station with support with the same fervor that they stream or spam twitter then it's entirely possible for u.s. radio to collectively decide to pull their head out of their ass

the fact that rm is getting sent to radio and now he and jimin are doing joint promo that points to jimin receiving *future* company radio support just makes it even more likely

it would be too cool if fans took advantage and slammed radio with requests for like crazy and got it on the air BEFORE jimin's second album comes out is all i'm saying

#american radio can be SLOW #it's not like spotify or utube it's more like a veeery slow tiktok #where it can take time for a song to build up momentum or spread to enough ears that it becomes #unthinkable that it's *not* on the radio you know #like how old songs can get used in tiktk edits to the point that they catch on and become wildly popular #all radio cares about is that people are listening so they can sell ad minutes #i know djs played army before and were dismissive and hostile but the game has shifted now that kpop #is spreading to the general public more - the fact that there is a syndicated radio show means awareness has grown #kpop is regularly on awards shows and at lolla and coachella - today it's more and more expected to be accessible #if every person that comments under jimin videos on utube took the time to tweet or dm or even email the radio station as well #i just think it would have major impact #but what do i know #it's kiisfm by the way if you want to search the show kpopwithjojo and maybe tell them you want to hear jimin on air
