i'm playing da:o for the first time with an amazing mod that makes Thedas look like a bisexual heaven and everyone can flirt with you no matter your gender so i had the dialogue with Leske that implies that he had sex with Brosca and he is such a caricature of the pervert straight guy that i had to draw how i think it went with my warden

I don't think salroka can be used like this in a sentence but it was FUnNy OK

me: I haven't replayed Origins in over ten years, and I only ever played most of the DLC the once with my Brosca (even tho I have done all the origins themselves)

me: all the Veilguard hype is reminding me of all the things I haven't actually tried in game, vs youtube or wiki or fic or fanon or whatever

me: I could replay everything, see how far I get before Veilguard comes out!

Imagine you had a 15 year old brother and one day he's like "hey I made a friend :)" which is very exciting because he's usually such a loner, but then it turns out his new friend is this guy you knew in highschool who used to (really ineffectively) hit on you all the time and also ever since they started hanging out your brother has picked up this weird habit of growling at people like a poorly trained terrier whenever he's frustrated and you can't get him to stop. This happened to Rica Brosca.

one thing i really like abt my new friend tegwen is that the way the blood splatter lands on their face absolutely makes them look like a vampire. i feel obliged to make them a reaver frankly

Let me present my newest warden, Runa Brosca!

She/her. Bisexual. Rogue. Castless.

Red hair, brown eyes, freckles, tan skin.

Runa’s kinda hot headed and often acts before she thinks, which has given her older sister Rica many headaches.

Runa and Leske used to have a fling, friends to lovers, but before anything got serious they decided that it wasn’t going to work out and it was better to stay friends.

Runa loves her sister Rica, and is very protective of her. If Rica hadn’t told her to go with Duncan she would’ve stayed.

Runa has a strained relationship with her mother due to her alcoholism. She never knew her father (nor Rica’s) but she has a very faint memory of a dark man leaving their house while hearing her mother arguing in the background.

Runa is proud to be a grey warden.

She’ll probably romance Zevran.

Need to see more love for Leske. I mean he needs to shut up about Brosca's sister, Rica, but he's a good guy. He's one of the few characters that takes the Blight seriously, that isn't a Gray Warden.

He also just thinks that Brosca can take the entire Warrior Caste in a fight. 🤣

He genuinely cares about Brosca. It's always "us" and "you" is never just "me" with him. It's very sweet of him.

Yeah, he betrays us later on in the main quest. But given his living situation he had no real choice in the matter. So I don't hold that against him (I just wish we could convince to him to fight with us against Jarvia).

i legit love the characters in the origins of dragon age origins that give depth to your character especially when theres a bit of choice involved ie tamlen gorim leske etc. its such a nice little bit in a game explicitly about where one comes from and how that affects their story
