Pairing: Fem!Reader x George Ryan Ross III
Request: Yeah! || Congrats on 100 followers!! I absolutely adore your writing, and was wondering if you weren't too backed up with requests if you could do another fluffy one with Ryan? There aren't enough with him in them. With the request, I was thinking maybe something along the lines of the reader living in the apartment above a coffee shop and Ryan's always down there playing his guitar and she loves his music and she finally gets to meet him one day and it's just fluffy (Sorry this was really long)
Warnings: SFW || cursing.
Masterlist: Here
This is such a cute request and I was in such a good mood while writing this one. I enjoyed it a lot. Also, sorry I’ve been on hiatus for so fucking long. My anxiety and depression have been kicking my ass lately. I hope this makes it a little better. Enjoy some Ryro fluff. xx
You lived in a small apartment above a small coffee shop and cafe on the most run down side of Chicago, Illinois. It was a cute spot to live, and wasn’t far from anywhere you would need to go. Especially with the fact that there were constantly taxis all over, willing to take you anywhere in the city. You were surprised with how cheap the rent was, but figured it was because the apartment was relatively small and there was a constant smell of coffee in your house, no matter how many apple scented candles you burned on a daily basis.
But that wasn’t the problem you had with living here. This paper wasn’t about to write itself. You knew that. The other twenty three students in your sociology class that had the same assignment knew that too. But yet here you were, two days before the due date and you were the only student that hadn’t turned it in yet. It’s not your fault that you worked five days a week full time and that you never had any peace and quiet at home.
The cafe below your apartment was always allowing start up musicians to come in and play. And the performers music choices ranged anywhere from piano covers of “Chasing Cars” by ‘Snow Patrol’, to brand new original songs that were nothing but screaming into a microphone and drum solos. You thought the cafe should have limited it to soft guitar, keyboard, and ukulele, but turning all the other musicians away would be considered rude. So they allowed almost anyone to play. Which was fine and dandy till you had a paper that was worth 75% of your semester grade due and had only got your name and the class name typed in the corner of the page.
But occasionally it was okay. Some times there would be this one musician that came in with his guitar and played songs that reminded you of ‘The Beatles.’ You had no idea what he looked like, or what his name was. All you knew was that he was by far your favorite and you hoped he would remain un-famed, just so he would continue to play in the cafe and give you a mini concert from the vent in your living room. Your favorite song of his was “Cape Town,” followed closely by “The Other Girl.” Two that he played each and every time he would come to the cafe. Sort of, fan favorites. And yes, you qualified yourself as a fan.
Thankfully, today was one of the days that he was here. His soothing voice made nice and calm background music as you typed away and wrote about breaking the social norm in everyday life.
Three and a half hours later, you heard the crowd cheering downstairs as you submitted your paper to the online course. It turned out worse than you would have wanted it to, but you didn't have time to go back and edit it a lot, nor did you really want to. Nor did you want to wait another day and then have something go wrong and you lose the paper the night before it’s due. So you clicked ‘turn in,’ got your digital receipt, and then shut your laptop.
Your eyes scanned to the clock on the wall and you knew that the cafe would be closing soon, and he would be ending his quote unquote setlist in a minute or two. This was probably his last song before he would start packing up. And something was telling you that you should go see who it was. But that wasn't the only reason you were headed downstairs. You really wanted a fall flavored drink. After all, it was the middle of October. After pulling on a hoodie over the tank top you had previously been wearing, and some fluffy socks because the owners knew you lived above them and didn't care whether or not you put on shoes to come grab a coffee, you grabbed a five dollar bill from your wallet and headed down the staircase, turning at the bottom and opening the glass door into the cafe. As you entered the rustic coffee shop, you smiled upon seeing that it was nearly empty and the boy was on the small stage, playing his guitar.
He gave off a puppy dog innocence. He was cute, that was for sure. There was a small stand in front of him that read ‘George Ryan Ross III: Acoustic Set.’ George. It didn’t really suit him, but you didn’t name him that. After watching him play about half a verse, you were entranced and didn’t move from your spot against the back wall until after the set when people started to leave and he began to pick up. That was when you went up to the counter and ordered. “Can I please get a small, pumpkin spice iced chai tea latte?” The total came out to about two dollars and twenty three cents, but you always left the change in the tip jar, just because the owners were always so nice to you. The lady working nodded and began making your drink.
Your eyes drifted back to the stage as you walked down towards the end of the counter to not be in the way of everyone in line. Sadly, the boy and his equipment were gone. The stage was clear and you couldn't help the frown on your face. You had actually wanted to say hello to ‘George’ and possibly talk to him about his music. But you were pulled from your thoughts when someone at the counter said they had two small iced pumpkin chai’s ready. You walked over and grabbed one of the cups, smiling as you brought the straw to your lips and sipped it, immediately swallowing the cool fall drink, but regretting it slightly. It was way too sweet.
That was when you noticed the little black ‘x’ written on the top of the cup. ‘X’ meant “extra” something. Whether it be extra caramel, extra vanilla, extra whipped cream. But in this case, it was easily-
“Extra sugar? I think that one’s mine...” A soft voice stated from beside you. You looked over and chuckled. George was standing next to you.
“Yeah, I think so too.” You both quickly pulled the straws from the cups and traded, putting your own straw in the drinks and smiling as you fixed your own orders. “Yeah, this one is definitely mine.”
“I agree. Sorry about that. I should probably look a little closer next time.” He chuckled, bringing his free hand up to scratch the back of his neck.
You nodded and smiled at him, “Yeah George. Maybe you should.”
“Please, everyone calls me Ryan.” Ryan. His middle name. It suited him way better than George did.
“Okay. Ryan. Don't you think that this is a sweet enough drink? Why add sugar?”
“Well, person who’s name I do not know-”
“Y/N.” You stated with a chuckle.
“Ah, Y/N. Well, Y/N, you see, you only live once. I prefer to enjoy each and every thing I consume. I see that you prefer to not wear shoes in public.” Immediately, you glanced down to your feet and giggled.
“Well Ryan, I do. I just don't wear them here because I’m too lazy to put shoes on. I live just upstairs, so there’s really no point in getting completely dressed to come down the stairs, around the banister, through the door, down the two foot long hallway, into the cafe, up to the counter, and then back out the door and upstairs when I get my drink. It’s a waste. So the owners let me come in here with just socks on.”
Ryan nodded and sipped his extra sugary sweet drink with a smile on his face. “Socks are cute. Especially fuzzy white ones with pink hearts on them.” He winked.
You rolled your eyes as he described your own socks to you. “Ha ha. Very funny. You know, I was gonna compliment your music but now, never mind. Have a nice night, George.” You smirked, sipping your drink and starting to walk towards the short hallway back to your apartment’s door.
“Y/N?” You turned back around to look at him after he said your name. “You like my music?”
“I do.”
“Maybe if you gave me your number, we could set up a day where I could come upstairs and play...?”
“Sure thing... George.”
He laughed slightly as you crossed back over to him and took his phone, putting your number in and agreeing that next Saturday he would be back and you would let him play you music in your living room.

Becca Van
Tumblr media
Becca Van is the creator and the author of the Terra-Form series of fictional novels. The series first became available to readers in 2011. That is when the debut novel in the series came out. It is titled Alpha Panthers.
Becca lives in the southern part of Australia, Geelong, Victoria, which is about an hour south of Melbourne.
She began writing in 2012 with a previous publisher under the name of Becky Wilde. Her first books weren’t great, but after switching to Siren BookStrand I learnt a lot.
Tumblr media
Alpha Province: Puppet Strings (Siren Publishing Menage Everlasting) By Becca Van
Her 99th book titled, Alpha Province: Shining Beacons was released with Siren BookStrand on the 4th of December. Her 100th book will be released on December 27. She is really looking forward to this milestone and have been running competitions for readers to win a copy of the last few releases of her books.
What are one to three books that have greatly influenced your life?
The Magic Faraway Tree By Enid Blyton
I loved Enid Blyton’s books as a kid. The Magic Faraway Tree and other books Ms. Blyton wrote. I would read them every night without fail.
The Sands of Time By Sidney Sheldon
Two books that I read as a teenager which I thoroughly enjoyed and still remember to this day are Sidney Sheldon’s The Sands of Time and
Tara Kane By George Markstein
Tara Kane by George Markstein.
What purchase of $100 or less has most positively impacted your life in the last six months (or in recent memory)?
This probably isn’t what you’re after, but I’d have to say wrist supports. Typing so much five days a week for last nine to ten years was catching up with me and I was getting sore forearms and wrists. My chiropractor suggested I purchase the supports which I did, and I have to say within a week I was no longer in constant pain. It was great because I love writing and didn’t want to end up with permanent damage.
How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?
When I wrote my first book, I submitted the manuscript to over thirty publishers. I received rejection after rejection and nearly gave up, but I persisted and sent it to another publisher whom to my abject excitement, agreed to publish my first story. I haven’t looked back.
Are there any quotes you think of often or live your life by?
Treat everyone the way you wish to be treated. We’d have a much happier peaceful world if everyone lived by this motto.
What is one of the best investments in a writing resource you’ve ever made?
Although I know this isn’t what you mean, I’d have to say besides my laptop which needed to have a fast processor to deal with all the editing notes so Word didn’t lag when I was typing corrections and edits, lots of notebooks to jot down ideas and to keep my characters and stories in order.
What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love?
I talk to myself often. Since I work from home it can get a bit lonely. Sometimes my adult son and his fiancée will hear me if and when they are home and will ask if I’m talking to them or myself. Shrug. Talking to myself helps keep me sane. Lol.
In the last five years, what new belief, behaviour, or habit has most improved your life?
I’m not a very confident person, however, I do believe if you work hard, put your heart and soul into something, that you’ll eventually be rewarded.
What advice would you give to a smart, driven aspiring author? What advice should they ignore?
The advice I’d give to an aspiring author is to never stop writing or reading. It doesn’t matter if you think what you’ve written is drivel and you end up deleting it. Continue to write everyday no matter the content or how many words you get down on paper, or on your computer. I’ve deleted whole chapters because I wasn’t happy with them.
I also read constantly. I’m not a huge TV fan and would rather read than watch the television. Nonetheless, I do occasionally sit and watch a movie or a show I like.
Ignore all negative criticism but listen to all constructive criticism. It may take a while to learn the difference, but your intuition will tell you who to listen to.
What are bad recommendations you hear in your profession often?
I don’t hear of too many recommendations good or bad. So, I can’t really answer the question. One critique may tell you they don’t like your story, but the next one may say they love it.
Everyone enjoys different genres and has different likes and dislikes. Just because one person doesn’t like what you’ve written, doesn’t mean everyone will hate it.
In the last five years, what have you become better at saying no to (distractions, invitations, etc.)?
Actually, I’m not great at saying no. I often do things I don’t want to do to keep everyone happy. I’m a peacekeeper and would prefer to do something I don’t wish to rather than upset anyone.
Nevertheless, I’m getting better at limiting visitors who knock on my door during my workday. Instead of letting them stay for as long as they want, I’m now limiting them to half an hour, especially if I haven’t reached the wordcount goal I’ve set myself each day.
What marketing tactics should authors avoid?
I don’t pay to market my work. I have a great publisher who markets all their authors and stories. There are so many authors who do pay for marketing. I think that it’s necessary if you’re self-publishing. Of course, everyone is different and is allowed their own opinions on what works for them.
What new realizations and/or approaches have helped you achieve your goals?
I actually had a new realization last week thanks to my wonderful husband. I’ve never thought about myself as a successful author, but my man told me how proud he was of my achievements.
I just think of myself as an avid worker who is too stubborn to let someone, or something, get in the way of what I love doing.
I write between five and six thousand words every weekday and I don’t deviate from that goal even if I have interruptions.
I also let my mind wander when I’m not writing or reading and sometimes a great story will pop into my head. I’ve used dreams and nightmares I’ve had as a basis to a plot. I’m a dreamer and probably don’t live in the real world as often as I should, but if I didn’t have a good imagination, I wouldn’t have written so many books.
When you feel overwhelmed or have lost your focus temporarily, what do you do?
I walk away, make myself a cup of black coffee or green tea and give my mind a few minutes rest. Then I’ll mull over where I’m up to, where I want to go and get back to work.
Any other tips?
Read as many books as you can of differing genres. Write whenever you can, no matter what and observe your surroundings when you’re out and about. You never know when something you see or hear will strike and give you the basis for a plot.

That’s a Wrap!  On the Road with FELICITY
I don’t even know where to start and I mean that in the best way. A little over a year ago (June 2016) I was introduced to my final project for school. A final project that I had to build up from scratch over the course of a year. Paperwork (so. much. paperwork.), sleep deprivation, and staring at editing programs for 8-10 hours at a time was basically what my life consisted of this past year. Add in my internship, dealing with the worst of my depression, and working part-time and you got it.
From the very beginning I was passionate about this project. I was nervous and anxious, but mostly excited. Out of all the styles of videos we could do, I chose to do a Music Promotional. During the very first lecture on this project, FELICITY came straight to mind. Earlier that week I remember seeing them on Facebook and we interacted in some way so I checked them out and liked their band page. The same night of the lecture, I went home and contacted them via their band page. Within an hour if not less, they got back to me and were all on board. The following week I went over to the band house and gave them the very, very, rough outline of the project. To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect either so I winged it as best I could. The guys were super nice and presented a totally “go with the flow, tell us what you need from us and what we need to do” kind of vibe (which honestly, I could not have gotten more lucky on that front).
After I met with them, the first thing I had to do was submit a proposal. The proposal consisted of the kind of video and its duration, the client, the locations, the idea of what the video would convey, and how the video would be distributed. I had to make that proposal and a back-up proposal because, well, shit happens. Both of these proposals had to be approved by my program’s Board of Directors.
Tumblr media
Proposal 1
Fast forward to August and I’m shooting my very first show. FELICITY was playing at The Social; a popular hole-in-the-wall venue in downtown Orlando. For the most part, everything went smoothly. Luckily my sister Holly was visiting me so she was able to be there for me for support in case I freaked out. It was my first show so I just went with the flow and tried my best. It was such a comfortable, happy feeling and a major adrenaline rush! After that night, everything was pretty steady and consistent when it came to working with them. I shot every show they played thereafter and I have never felt happier while doing anything else.
Jump to January of 2017. This was the month where I had to write out an Audio Video Script which again, had to be approved by the Board. Audio Visual scripts are a little different than screenplays. They require scene and shot numbers, dialogue, color coding (for objects, actions, props, locations, etc), and the music/voiceovers that will be used in the video and at what time in the video they would be present. Basically, this was the outline of my video.
Tumblr media
Lined Script
This month had the first actual “shooting day”. It was the interview portion of the video. I had to create lighting diagrams, storyboards (minimum of 30 with a minimum amount of certain shot types), and interview questions. Besides getting establishing shots, this was the only time I really had to plan word for word, visual for visual because it was something I had control over. I had no control of the shows, their lighting, their venue, etcetera. That is probably what I’ve learned that I love most. Although it can be a major pain during post-production, you’re forced to go with what you have and make best of what is presented to you while shooting a concert. Every show is different so it’s always exciting and a challenge which I really enjoy!
The next few months were pretty smooth. I kept shooting their shows and stock piling footage. June is when I was probably the most stressed I’ve ever been while creating this project. First off, this was the first of two classes I had that was strictly about my project (in other words, I learned everything I needed to and it was time to focus on the project only). This month was nothing but paperwork. When I say paperwork I mean more than 100 sheets of paper, easy. I had to do location scoutings/maps, location permits and releases, talent releases, crew member deals, liability contracts (for myself and the school), safety plans, copyright documents for any audio and footage that was being used, casting calls, call sheets, scene breakdowns, shot breakdowns, budgeting sheets, and shooting schedules. I know you probably got lost about halfway into that sentence. Yeah, it was incredibly difficult and stressful simply because of the amount of time I had to do it (3 weeks) and how many people I had to get in contact with. Oh and not to mention, if you didn’t have all necessary contracts, you had to retake the classes the following month. I’m pretty sure I cried about three times during that month out of frustration, worry, and sleep deprivation.
Tumblr media
Shot Breakdown Sheet
During July things kept rolling, but the paperwork portion was finished! This was the production month of the project. So it consisted of more shooting and submitting 3-4 minute videos, aka dailies, of footage each week that was going to be used in the final edit. I was pretty nervous about this month mainly because this was the month right before the guy’s began their tour so I didn’t have any recent footage to submit. From what I submitted, my teacher for that month didn’t think I had enough content to move on. I passed that class by the skin of my teeth.
Now, August- my favorite month by far! This month was all about the post-production stage. After getting home from work, I spent an average of 8 hours a day in front of my computer editing in Adobe Premiere. Those 8 hours quickly rolled into the early mornings till about 3am. My sleep schedule was terrible and barely even there, really. For this Post-Production class, I had to submit an edit each week. The first week an assembly edit was due. An assembly edit is the roughest kind of edit one can do. No music, no fancy editing or transitions. You literally place the clips in the order you think you want them in and you’re done. It looks awful. I got a 100 on it. The second week the rough edit was due. This edit is where you added in the music, trimmed the clips to your liking, and added the transitions in. The third edit was the final edit. All color grading and correction needed to be done and the title/introduction of the video needed to be added. Any effects you wanted to add were required as well. Finally, the fine cut was due aka, mother of all edits. Up to this point, everything visually should have been fixed and polished. This edit was where you focused on the audio levels between all dialogue and music. You focused on the audio effects and overall balance of the mix which needed to average around -6dB. I got a 100 on the last edit, too!
Tumblr media
Fine Cut Edit
I received my grade and tears came to my eyes. This project has been my baby for the past year and the fact that it’s all finished is very bittersweet. With that being said, I still had to show the guys. A year of shooting and I never showed any of the guys of FELICITY any part of any edits. I wanted it to be a surprised and to be the best it could be! So I went over to the band house during rehearsal and we all watched it together. It was such a great moment. I was smiling the whole time with butterflies in my stomach, slightly nervous because I didn’t know what they would say. Thankfully, they loved it and wanted to watch it over again!
I’ve already had my sappy moment with the guys, but I will never be able to repay them or thank them enough. They did this to me as a favor. I had nothing to give them except a finished product. I was a stranger to them and they let me in with open arms. Without a doubt, they are five of the sweetest, respectful, funniest, easy-going, most talented guys I’ve ever met. I’ve gained a friendship with each of them and will forever cherish this project and them for helping me get started on the path of my career. This past year has been one of the best. I’ve made some great memories, experienced so much, met and worked with awesome people, learned a lot about myself as a videographer and photographer, and have become confident in my work. I’m doing exactly what I’ve wanted to do, exactly what I’m passionate about and it all started with them.
With that being said, they’ve decided they still want me around! I’m going to continue working with them for the rest of this tour and beyond (...or at least until they get tired of me). I am still working at my internship and plan to stay in Orlando once I graduate on September 29th. And if things keep going how they are, I’ll have a big announcement to make soon!
Again, this is such a bittersweet time in my life and I’ve loved every minute of it.  Thank you to my mom and sisters for the continuous support and for watching every edit of this project even when the slightest of changes were made. Thank you to my friends who have understood my passion for what I do and have stuck around even when I can’t see them as often as I’d like to. And thank you to Andrew, Damien, Mike, Tyler, and Cory for trusting me to portray your music and brand to your fans and for just being you. I am grateful for you all.

Finals/Study Schedule!
I don’t know if I’ve ever talked about this, but I honestly think that one of the greatest parts about online classes is having the freedom to choose when I’m going to take my exams. It’s awesome!
So for today’s Dead Week post I wanted to talk about how I planned out my studying/exam schedule, despite some issues.
Last year I was taking four classes for my first semester of being a fully online student and I spent I think an entire day planning out exactly what I would be studying on each day and when I was going to be taking the exams (more on that in a minute). This year I’m taking five classes, but one of them is causing me problems in that the instructor has posted literally zero information about the exam, and I’m honestly starting to wonder if we even are going to have one, since finals start in six days. (I’ve taken a “pop quiz” final exam before, I was not happy.) So I’m really hoping that I hear something soon because I have no idea what’s going on and it’s causing some unnecessary stress. With that in mind, the schedule for this semester isn’t so concise like it was before, but I still have a solid idea of what needs to be done for each class, so I’m going to break the class down one by one, explain the exam (except for Sociology bc I still have no idea) and talk about what I’m studying, and when I’m taking it.
Side note: with online classes, the majority of instructors will allow you to take the final exam at any time within the duration of finals week, but you have to start the exam with at least two hours before the end of the exam window or you won’t be allowed to take it.
Intermediate Algebra I think this class is the one that’s actually stressing me out the most at the moment tbh. This exam is a cumulative exam (I think he said 50 questions but I honest to goodness do not remember oops) that has to be taken on campus on Monday, 10 December at 2pm. More than anything I’m stressed about having to go all the way out to campus for this, but it’s a department policy and there’s nothing I can do about it. When I went in for my last exam (can you believe that was only a week ago bc I can’t) he gave us the first two exams. I absolutely love using old tests to study because so many instructors will reuse exact questions from old tests in their final exams and I can get a better idea of what to study. He also posted two review quizzes (ungraded and unlimited attempts) on his website for me to go over. For the next three days I’m going to review each of the first three exams (I don’t actually have the third one but he did email me the answer key which is better than nothing) and get myself in a position where I would get 100% on all three if I retook them (I so wish I was able to do that)! After that I’ll be taking the review quizzes on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until I get 100% on them. There is also an extra credit assignment due on the day of the exam that I think I’ll do either tonight or tomorrow just to get it out of the way. I already looked at it, it’s easy points. No reason not to do it. I think we are also allowed to make a notecard to have during the exam, but I’m going to email him to be sure. He’s let us have them in the first three exams and never said that we couldn’t have them in the final, but I’d like to be sure.
American History For this class, there actually is not a final exam (thank god) but a final project which is due the day after tomorrow. I more or less have to create my own lecture, record it, and compile it into a presentation and send it in. The research is done, the script is written, I just have to record the voiceover and add the pictures in. I feel pretty confident about this project, but recording the audio is making me a bit nervous. I’ve been sick with a bad cold for the past few days and am only just starting to get my voice back, so I don’t sound great and am still coughing/clearing my throat every three seconds, but unfortunately I don’t have time to wait for my voice to clear up. Tomorrow I’m going to record a few takes of the lecture (accompanied with some lemon and cayenne tea for my throat) and edit it the best I can (something I actually used to do a lot when I was in high school so I’m not too worried about). I can have the whole thing finished tomorrow, but I think I would feel better taking the day on Thursday to fine-tune it just to really secure an A (it isn’t due until 11:59 pm). Once it’s submitted I have until Sunday, 16 December to review someone else’s lecture post a peer edit. I’m not actually sure if he’s going to assign someone for me to review or if I can choose, but I’ll find out on Friday after my own lecture is submitted. The tentative plan is to do the review as soon as I found out, and to have it finished by Tuesday, 11 December or Wednesday, 12 December at the latest.
General Psychology This is a non-cumulative exam that has to be taken on Wednesday, 12 December, but can be taken any time between 8am and 10pm. There are only I think three chapters that I need to study, but the chapters are so long I’m going to take two days to study each one, and it might turn out that I maybe make a write-up or study guide on the chapter one day and test myself on it the next; I’m not really sure what’s going to happen yet. Unfortunately Canvas has changed a lot of its rules and I’m not allowed to access any of my old tests or quizzes. It’s supposed to be an anti-cheat thing so you don’t post everything onto Quizlet but I actually use them to study from so it doesn’t help me much. I didn’t do great on my last two exams so I’m a little nervous about this one. I think that’s why I’m taking two days to study one chapter tbh. I think the best I can hope for in this class is a C as my final grade, but I need as high a score as possible on the final to hope for that in all honesty.
Pharmacology This is a non-cumulative exam that can be taken anytime between 6am on 10 December and 11:59 pm on 15 December (but has to be started at the latest by 9:59 pm on 15 December). I’m still not sure what’s going on with the term paper, because she said she won’t be grading them until I think next week. Whatever she decides to do is what she decides to do, and I’m not going to throw away the final exam on the possibility she doesn’t grade my paper. I’m going to keep going like she will grade it and that I’ll get a great grade. This exam is on the second half of the class, which adds up to I think 13 chapters to study from, which I’m breaking down to two a day (or one lesson a day, essentially). I have benefitted so much more from studying from the textbook directly over her lecture notes - which are not set up for online classes, but rather in-class sessions where she would be talking through each incredibly vague bullet point. At the end of each chapter is also a review which she’s sent us the answer keys to, so the plan is to take notes on each chapter (which takes about an hour each) and then take the review quiz at the end. Again I can’t see my old quizzes so I can’t use those to study from. I think this is honestly the first time where I’m completely relying on my textbook and no other material, but, if it works, it works. As of now I’m planning on taking this exam on Thursday, 13 December, so that I have more time to study. I haven’t decided on a time of day yet, but most likely in the morning so I can get it out of the way.
Intro to Sociology So again I have no idea what’s going on with this class, but I can guess. My best guess is that this will be a non-cumulative exam (I’m basing this on her syllabus that she doesn’t actually follow) and she’ll most likely give us the entire week to take it, with a plan to take it on Tuesday, 11 December. I imagine she’ll post something about it within the next day or two, but only time will tell.
Ideally, I want to be completely done with my finals before Friday, 14 December because we are having a Christmas Party at work, and I would really love to go feeling accomplished and being able to celebrate the end of the semester with my team who have been so patient and supportive of me while I’ve been barely working for the past two months to maintain my ridiculous course load. Wish me luck!
