since hollywood is churning out the asoiaf adaptations like there's no tomorrow maybe we could throw some of that effort towards authors of color and actually get our promised adaptations of jade city raybearer the poppy war babel the empire of sand we hunt the flame mexican gothic the fifth season etc etc? just a thought.

#idk man i love grrm's books but i also love all of those other books and it makes me so sad the adaptations #still haven't manifested yet despite hotd being evidence the shows COULD have been made by now #like i'm rereading one of tasha suri's books and it would genuinely make a FANTASTIC season of tv but no one has actually adpted her stuff #also if more fantasy starring poc was made then we wouldn't just be stuck debating if egg should be played by an actor of color…#there would be so many more options…#pie says stuff #pie reads
