Nothing will teach you how to drive around excessive amounts of pedestrians like having a job that involves driving on a college campus.
#college kids are unpredictable and have a very limited will to live#and unfortunately whether or not i keep my job is riding on my ability to anticipate their movements#from behind the wheel of a stupidly large vehicle.#like if a student walks out in front of my truck and i were to hit them they would prob just get to skip class for a few days or whatever#whereas i would be shit out of a job + my health insurance and probably my fucking house and whatever else#so. I'm sure you all can imagine the stress i am under.#it doesn't help that all the students at this university get out of class at the same time for some ungodly reason#like if it's 15-30min after any given hour good fucking luck. you might as well stay put#you will likely get to wherever you're going in the same amount of time.#so uh. yep
