#girl.#“a lawyer”#replace “trounced” with “pounced”#they really made Gumshoe the punchline of every single joke in this game#so anyway i feel like when you already know what you're getting into Investigations 1 is not that bad actually#like it's pretty fun. it's like an international affairs adventure like if Carmen Sandiego worked for the UN#and the bigger picture is set up pretty subtly like sprinkled across the game but with each case being its own thing#also i remember getting a friend of mine to play ace attorney a while back and his main comment after playing the first few cases was:#“it's nice but i could do without the supernatural elements”#and i feel like Investigations is very much that? like ace attorney without the Feys? right?#i don't share my friend's sentiment but it's kinda like a best of both worlds scenario here#if you want a more grounded story play Investigations; if you're into the supernatural aspects play Spirit of Justice or something idk#the trilogy was like the perfect blend imo and then the second “trilogy” was just eh in terms of like magic and stuff#like i'd take Little Thief over Apollo's cockring any day honestly#i need more gays to rally behind Mia. what the fuck do you mean “i could do without the supernatural elements” ??#Gay 4 Fey#ace attorney#!
