god i actually miss sending letters to my friends so bad. we did it during lockdown and we'd talk about our lives and ask each other basic questions we already knew the answers to and draw on the margins and send little drawings and stickers

#like we didn't need to. we could've just dmed about it. but getting one in the mail and seeing all the little surprises #and then sitting down and spending like an hour and a half on a response so you could make sure it was perfect #it was fun! it was nice!#idk ive been reconnecting to some older friends after mostly hanging out with new people for the past year #and also missing being friends with someone i used to be really close with but then our relationship changed and it got weird #and damn! if i could be thirteen again for like. one week just one and then go back to how things are now
