#this is a allround awful movie. like thematically as well as storyteling way#like genuinely... i am forced go watch this movie w family rn and its visually beautiful.#but god such a tone-deaf insensitive movie all-round#be it with cultures it borrows from or the people it depicts.#its so fucking white and so fucking stale.#i mean. there's a white guy w dreads to start off.#its such a bad movie. like.... it has nothing interesting to say#like... i wont even say its a 'bad' movie its just... insignificant. its uninteresting.#the people are one dimensional and boring.#its the blandest whiteass take.#the visuals are beautiful like the art team did an amazing job. underpaid as fuck this i know.#but that's all there is good about it. characters are bland. and so paper thin.#no depth to any of them none of it.#the ppl in charge of visuals deserve a better story to showoff their skills.
