Here Comes the Sun (part 2)
Tumblr media
Danny Wagner X Fem OC X Josh Kiszka
18+ only, minors DNI
Warnings: None
"Lucas what do you want for dinner?" I shouted from the kitchen of our shared apartment. It was a spacious place, Lucas's rich parents promising to pay for it if he kept his grades up. Despite being an avid partier, he was one of the smartest people I knew.
"I have a date tonight," he said as he appeared from his room, "You would too if you'd call that guy, its been a week." He shot you a look of disappointment as he buttoned his shirt.
"I don't want to call him, I don't want a relationship or anything remotely close, you know that." I said as I closed the fridge. It was mid morning but I had a bad habit of fully planning, or stressing, over my whole day.
"Well, don't worry about me for dinner, I won't be back till late." He said as he walked back into his room. I looked at the clock and realized I had a little under an hour to get ready and get to class. I looked at the forecast for the rest of the day, we didn't live on campus so I usually longboarded to and from class. I dug through my closet as I waited for the forecast to load. I slipped on my favorite mom jeans, a black and white striped crop top, and a zip front hoodie that I left open in the front. I grabbed my backpack from my desk and walked towards the front door. The forecast had finally loaded, and I saw rain later in the day, so I grabbed my umbrella. I slipped on my vans, grabbed my longboard.
"Bye Lucas! Have fun on your date, wear protection!" I shouted as I walked out of the door. I stepped down the front steps and hopped onto my longboard heading to the school. I sat in classes until about 3pm and then I grabbed my bag and board to head back to the apartment.
About halfway back I started to feel raindrops falling on my shoulders. I reached for the pocket of my bag to realize my umbrella wasn't there. It must have fallen out of at some point during the day. I groaned as I picked up the pace, trying to get back to the apartment before the downpour ensued. I got to our building and hurried up the steps as the rain started falling faster.
I dug in my bag, no keys. Fuck. I knocked on the door, no answer. Fuck. Right, Lucas had class and his date was picking him up from there. I groaned as it started to pour rain. I sunk to the steps, the rain soaking my shirt and hoodie as I tried to figure out what to do. I put my hood up, as if that would salvage anything and put my head in my hands. I had been sitting there for about 10 minutes when I heard a voice,
"Rose?" I looked up to see Danny, his car pulled over in front of me with his window rolled down,
"Hi," I said as I pushed wet hair out of my face,
"Do you need help?" He asked as he looked at the building behind me
"I am locked out of my apartment, but I'm ok" I said as I shrugged my shoulders, "My roomate will be home at some point,"
"Why don't you come to my apartment until they get back?" He asked, still leaning over the console.
"I don't even know you" I replied, and it was true.
"Of course you do, we played beer pong together," He said as he stepped out of the car and walked over with a smile, using his hand to shield his hair from the rain. "I promise I'm not a crazy person, I just want to help. It's rainy and cold, you're going to get sick."
I considered it for a moment, looking at this man who was standing in the rain, trying to help me. I had spent a little time with him, and he had been nothing but nice and respectful the whole time.
"Are you sure it's not a problem?" I asked as he helped me to my feet,
"Not at all, here come on." He opened the passenger door for me before taking my backpack and board from my hands and putting them in the back seat. I got into the car and shut the door. I sat as close as I could to my door, but as I watched him get into his seat. His shirt was now soaked but he gave me that soft smile. My brain went back to the night of the party, the guy who had sat next to me, asked about my book, and only left my side to deal with his sick friend. I started to feel at ease as the car was shifted into drive and started to move.
"You're lucky my class got out late, otherwise I think you'd still be sitting out in the rain," He said as he pulled his wet hair into a bun
"I would have figured it out." I said as I looked out of the window, I'd never been good at asking for help, or receiving it.
"It didn't look like you were 'figuring it out''" He teased, giving me a side glance,
"You said you were leaving class, do you go to MSU?" I asked, changing the subject,
"I do, do you?" He looked over to me,
"Yeah," I replied as I picked at my nails, a habit I'd had since I was little.
"Am I making you nervous?" He asked kindly, turning on the radio in a attempt to put me more at ease.
"I'm just an inherently nervous person" I said quietly, "But you do make me a little nervous." I glanced to him for a moment, then back out of the window.
"I'm not trying to, I promise" He said concerned,
"It's ok," The corned of my mouth turned up slightly at how sweet he was, "What are you studying?"
"Music theory, how about you?"
"Education," I replied plainly,
"Oh nice! My dad is a teacher" He said proudly with a nod of his head,
"Really? What grades does he teach?" I asked, turning slightly more towards him,
"Middle school,"
"Oh hell no, that sounds terrifying. I want to teach elementary" I said with a laugh as we pulled into a parking lot. "Middle schoolers are mean" He giggled as he chose a parking spot, putting the car in park
"Ready to make a run for it?" He asked with a grin "It's that door right there?" He said as he leaned over the console and pointed
"I guess so," I smiled back. We both flung our doors open and took off running towards the door, giggling as we arrived, Danny putting his hands on my hips to keep himself from running into me as we halted. Usually, I wasn't a fan of physical contact (at least not while sober), and I was surprised I didn't want to immediately pull away.
He removed his hands from my hips with the slightest blush on his cheeks. Shifting his attention to his hands as he sorted through the keys on his carabiner and unlocked the door. We stepped in and I saw the same boy from the party, Sam I think it was, sitting on the couch. A smile grew on his face as he realized who I was.
"What did you do? Kidnap her cause she didn't call you?" he said with a laugh,
"Rose, this is Sam, my roommate" Danny said in a tone that made me laugh, shooting Sam a glare
"Well Sam, you owe me a new book" I said slipping off my shoes and standing awkwardly a few steps inside the door.
"Right, sorry about that. I had a little too much fun at that party.." Sam trailed off as he rubbed the back of his neck,
"You have a little too much fun at every party Sam." Danny said as he took off his soaked shirt. My eyes quickly raked over his broad shoulders and tan skin, down his abdomen, stopping at the trail of hair under his belly button. Nice and he looked like a damn greek god? I shook the thought, prying my eyes from him as I looked around the room.
"Follow me and we can get you out of those wet clothes," Danny said nonchalantly, taking a few steps across the room,
"Excuse me?" I scoffed, I heard Sam snicker from the couch. By the shocked look on Danny's face when he turned around I knew immediately that he didn't mean it how it had sounded,
"Oh-I- not like that," He put his hands up in defense, "I was just going to give you some clothes and dry yours," His face was red in embarrassment, suddenly making you feel guilty for assuming and for your reaction,
"Right," I nodded as I followed him to his room, there were a lot of band posters on the walls and it smelled like incense. There were crates with multiple records in them sitting on the floor. His room was actually fairly well organized and his bed was made. He dug through his drawers and pulled out a pair of sweats and an old band tee.
"Here ya go," He said handing them to me, "You can change in here and then meet me back in the kitchen"
"Thank you," I said as I took them from him. He walked out and shut the door behind him. I took off my wet clothes and slipped into his shirt and pants. I was swallowed by them, the shirt ending about mid thigh, having to scrunch up the pant legs so they wouldn't drag on the ground. They smelled like vanilla with a hint of something woodsy. I picked up my wet clothes and went back towards the kitchen,
"Hey what time are we supposed to get to the bar tonight?" I heard Sam ask as I walked by
"I think 7, I don't know, let me text Jake." Danny replied, he turned and took my clothes from my hands throwing them into the dryer with his shirt. He grinned when he looked back at me in his clothes, how I was standing awkwardly. "You can sit down somewhere," he smiled sweetly. I walked into the living room and sat on the couch, leaning on the armrest and tucking my feet under me. Sam sat on the other side of the couch watching the tv.
"Jake says we need to be there by 6:30" Danny shouted from the kitchen.
"You know, he's been wondering all week why you didn't call him." Sam whispered, leaning over towards you. You felt your cheeks turn a shade of pink as Sam waited for your response,
"I can hear you!" Danny said as he walked around the corner, "Go take your shower so I have time to take mine before we have to leave." he shooed Sam off the couch and took his spot.
"Fine" Sam laughed as he walked down the hallway. Danny peeked at me out of the corner of his eye as he fidgeted with the water bottle in his hands. You could feel the nervousness in the room, radiating from both of you.
"He isn't lying though, can I ask why you didn't call me?" he asked quietly, I knew he wasn't trying to make me anxious but I felt my heartbeat start going faster.
"I am not really looking for anything with anyone right now, I need to focus on my studies." I said softly as I looked over to see his reaction. He nodded, but kept his eyes on his hands.
"Well, do you have plans tonight?" He asked with a smile,
"Danny," I giggled, shaking my head. "I just said I don't want anyt-"
"I mean, I'd like you to come to our show, as a friend." He shrugged
"Your show?" I asked in surprise,
"Yeah, I'm in a band with Sam and his two brothers," He said plainly, like that wasn't one of the coolest things I'd ever heard.
"I mean, I can't get into my apartment, and I didn't have any plans anyways, so I can go," I answered, causing him to grin back at me, "I just don't have anything to wear."
"You're telling me you don't want to go to a bar in sweats and t-shirt?" He joked and I smiled, "I think your clothes should be dry by the time we have to leave." He assured me as he settled further into the couch.
We talked a little more about miscellaneous things as Sam showered, and then Danny. Once they were both ready Danny appeared out of his room and walked towards the dryer. "Your pants are dry, but your hoodie and shirt are still damp.." He said handing me my pants,
"I'll figure something out." I said as I took my pants and headed for the bathroom. I slipped on my pants and looked in the mirror. I tied the front of Dannys band tee into a knot so that it was a crop top. This was as good as it was going to get. My hair had started to curl slightly and was frizzy because of the rain so I wrangled it into a side braid. I looked acceptable enough to go to a bar, at least in my opinion. I walked back out into the living room and both boys were on the couch waiting for me apparently.
"You look great," Danny said as he glanced at me, "Ready to go?"
"Are you sure it's ok if I tag along?" I asked as I slipped on my shoes, "It's stopped raining, I can just wait outside my apartment until my roommate gets back"
"Nah you should come, it's going to be fun." Sam replied, Danny nodding in agreement. They both stood up, Danny grabbing his keys as Sam and I followed him out of the door. We piled into Danny's car and headed towards the bar. After about a 30 minute drive we arrived. Danny parked and we made our way inside. It was a small bar, but the parking lot was fairly crowded. As soon as we got inside a guy with shoulder length wavy hair approached us.
"Took you two long enough to get here, Josh already sound checked and is in the back meditating, and you two have like 20 minutes to sound check." He said in a stern tone,
"Sorry, there was more traffic than we thought," Sam replied as he headed to the stage,
"Jake, this is Rose," Danny said, "Rose, this is Jake."
"Nice to meet you Rose, but I gotta go finish setting up" I smiled and waved as he walked away. He looked vaguely familiar but I couldn't quite place why.
"You can hang out here at the bar until our set is over, then we can hang out after." Danny smiled as he pulled out a bar stool for me.
"Ok, break a leg" I said with a grin. A cute half smile emerged on his face as he looked back at me while walking away. He got to the stage and started setting up and doing his soundcheck with Sam and Jake. About a half hour later the lights went down and I saw Jake go off stage, I assume to get who he had mentioned earlier.
I saw the silhouette of the two of them walk back on stage, turning on my stool so I could see better. The stage was then lit up, and my eyes went wide. There stood the curly haired guy I had hooked up with in the bathroom at the party. He adjusted the microphone, and his eyes scanned the room as he spoke,
"We are Greta Van Fleet," He paused when his eyes landed on me, that cocky smirk spreading on his face "And we are going to play some songs for you tonight." He added with a wink.

P6 predictions 👍👍
- femc route (different routes give people reasons to replay even if there are minor differences AND i do think there is a sizable femc head crowd AND its a low effort way to not seem sexist which ATLUS loves)
- since P3R just happened i think theyre gonna look to it a bit and there will be a villain team like strega so they can do the cool thing where they do the attacks only player characters have access to
- you team up with the akechi/ryoji type character or at least there is an accomplice route
- the one thing i will give ATLUS always is that i think they make good improvements and i think they have very good gameplay. i feel like theyve had to realize that the social sim part is lacking and theyre gonna starting having alot more choices that matter
- it follows in P5s footsteps and they add in one new type of elemental attack and bring back one type from P2 and it will be havoc
- the mascot will be a bunny rabbit 🐇 🐰
- velvet room BOY attendant praxis and groundbreaking and more important than feminism
- jack frost will still be on those vending machines yeah baby!
- draws from P2 and theres some kind of rumor system where you can make changes to the real world from the fake one
- i dunno its their seventh (honestly id count SMT:IF- so eighth) mainline game they can get a bit crazy and experimental and self-reflective (they kind have done this with P5 but thats just reflective and i mean MGS2 crazy)
- gay dating but they do it in a really weird way
- fake instagram app on the loading screens like kingdom hearts iii
- longboarding

Reflection on Test Shoot
As a group, we decided that the best scene for us to shoot was the freekick scene from the climax of the film. But what did this mean for each HoD?
Tumblr media
*Happy Gilmour!*
For Lucy , she had to find a great location and organise an entire shoot, which she did fantastically. For the edit, Jake surprised me, having never worked with him before, I need to give him more credit, he understands the idea and the feeling of youth football. Rosie was the Assistant Director for the entire shoot and brought together a fantastic team of sound recordists to help her capture the sounds she needed for the post. James dressed two lead cast members, and 8 supporting actors as well as did continuity, make-up and set dressing. Finally, Alex had to lead a team of camera people, pick up the Alexa for the first time on set, and capture a full football match of action (And we all still managed to finish an hour early.)
This is by far the most complicated scene in the film and what I find hilarious in hindsight is that nobody was saying that it was too tough, everyone just wanted to do better. I can’t imagine what it is going to be like to shoot more of the stress-free scenes of the film and see how they turn out. With the limited time we had, we gave it our all, I am over the moon with performances and have loads of takeaways from the shoot.
I think we successfully built tension through the edit, Alex did a great job matching the shots from Pre-production to on the shoot. Rosie ran a fantastic set, I never once had to ask about time and only had to speak to Alex to confirm I liked the framing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I got the chance to work with two different actors and test out my methodology. Which I think worked very well. Lucy got us a fantastic location and was very well equipped to handle anything that came out of nowhere. The reason I don't talk about Production design much is because James did such a good job at making the space feel real I hardly could tell it was the production design.
The issues for next time:
Get SAs who plays football.
Train the goalkeeper in proper diving techniques.
Focus (Camera) and being more specific in what we are shooting. Alex talks a bit in his blog about how this could be improved so I implore you to look at his.
Going Forward
I want to use this as a reference for next year but also be comfortable enough to throw these ideas away if I find they are not working.
This year, I found my biggest issue as a director is communicating a clear vision to my collaborators, I have spent so much time working with actors that I neglected the other areas of communication. I relied too much on expecting my collaborators to just “get me” and never spent enough time talking to them.
So Ben remember this for next time:
First! Get the location sorted first. So much depends on the location and access to it. You had a luxury for Longboard Nights.
Secondly, trust your vision more. It is time to finally do a script breakdown. You rely so much on other people that it is time to give them a reason to rely on you.
Finally, no that's kind of everything. If anyone else has any feedback who is reading this please let me know 🙂

Longboard Nights: 1st ADing!
One of the best experiences I’ve had at uni, thank you so much Ben for letting me come on board!! The most talented group of people. Watching them at work every day was a joy <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
1st AD duties included scheduling so before we went up North me and Ben stripboarded the shot list for each day (in our own adapted way which involved rough timings because we don’t quite understand how stripboards help anyone). We also had a couple meetings to discuss how we planned on running the set: who would call for camera/sound speed, who would call action etc etc.
Whilst still in Edinburgh I joined the group for the exterior skating shoots and politician shoot. The first exterior shoot was a bit messy - we had to call it off due to rain. Afterwards we had a meeting about what we could improve on and I think the second shoot went much smoother as a result. Ben kept this practice going up North - occasionally pulling me aside for a chat about how we could run the set even smoother the next day. We had daily morning briefings whilst everyone finished their breakfast and although I hated it at first I got a lot more confident as the days went on!
AD-ing is kinda stressful and I was kinda panicking that I was going to let the crew down pretty much everyday… but I didn’t!! We only had to cut one shot and we had loads of time to get wildtracks so all in all I’d say it was a success!
And now to gush about everyone…
I’m convinced Ben is one of the best directors of his age if only for his attitude towards filmmaking. You could see that the weeks he spent rehearsing and building up a relationship with his actors really paid off. I love him and I can’t wait to see what he does in the future.
I was blown away by how gorgeous Alex’s lighting looked and I’ll never forget about the importance of an eye light for as long as I live!! Kushal and Tom were the best camera team, never seen focus so sharp or slating so efficient?! Bonnie and Juno’s little production design team completely brought the world to life, when I walked onto the garage set it felt like I’d walked into the movies, cardboard walls and bloody syringes and all! Rowen’s literally a professional sound recordist so it’s no wonder it sounds flawless and Tom will always be the most iconic boom op, I’m so excited for their hyper pop track! Jack was such a great producer, always there to lend a hand with anything that needed doing! And Bethany was the best roommate I could have asked for! Her English accents are something to behold… (you really had to be there…)

For other people, they are an indication of character and the plan is profoundly significant. These days skateboards are presented in various sizes, colors and can incorporate a colossal assortment of frill. The skateboard logos are the main adornment that is utilized for decorative purposes. Much of the time they will be printed or stuck on the load up. To satisfy the extremely high needs that are available and that come from an assortment old enough gatherings, one might say that producers did everything that could be in arranged to propose however much variety as could be expected.
Skateboard logos are an indication of character. For example, those that have areas of strength for an of humor will constantly search for logos that are interesting. Finance managers will in all probability search for a modern logo while youngsters might ponder utilizing some musical crew logos as a design. While picking the skateboard logos that you need to utilize, the main element to consider is your character. You need to ensure that what you print or the plan picked will be a mark of you personally.
Fortunately these days skateboard logos are much less expensive than before. You can really get them from a wide range of neighborhood outlets. Nonetheless, a great many people will choose to get them from an internet based store. You might go to an expert logo fashioner that can assist you out if you with having unique requests that must be regarded. True to form, a custom skateboard logo will cost in excess of a plan that is now printed and more normal. Notwithstanding, a great many people that affection the game will select this chance.
There are two primary justifications for why skateboard logos that are bought online are more reasonable for all individuals that are searching for such plans. The main one is variety. Basically, when you go on the web, you will approach huge number of assortments and the decisions that are accessible will constantly be much more when contrasted with what is sold in neighborhood shops. As a matter of fact, in only one web-based store you can find great many various plans. This is never found in disconnected stores.
The second justification for why you should truly consider purchasing skateboard logos online is the way that they will be less expensive. In any event, purchasing custom logos and having them imprinted on a skateboard will be less expensive. Online stores don't really have to pay staff individuals that would be liable for neighborhood stores and don't truly need a display area. This chops down a ton on the costs that are related with overseeing and working such a business. They can in this manner offer better costs. The main issue is that you need to ensure that you will get skateboard logos of the greatest quality conceivable. The costs will be lower yet this doesn't imply that quality ought to be forfeited.

How Surf Cameras Revolutionize Wave Tracking
Introduction
Surfing is not just a sport; it's a way of life. Surfers have an unwavering connection with the ocean and constantly seek the perfect wave. Over the years, technology has played a significant role in enhancing the surfing experience. One such innovation that has revolutionized wave tracking is the campus point surf camera. This article explores how these surf cameras have transformed the way surfers monitor and analyze wave conditions at Campus Point, making it an essential tool for surf enthusiasts.
The Rise of Surf Cameras
Surf cameras have gained immense popularity among surfers worldwide due to their ability to provide real-time insights into wave conditions. These cameras capture the beauty and power of the ocean, allowing surfers to check the waves remotely before venturing out. Campus Point, located at the University of California, Santa Barbara, is no exception. The surf camera at Campus Point has become a staple in the daily routine of local surfers, offering them a comprehensive view of the surf before heading to the beach.
Embracing the Digital Ritual
Morning Ritual
For surfers, checking the campus point surf camera has become an integral part of their morning ritual. As the sun begins to rise, many surf enthusiasts religiously turn on their devices and access the surf camera to assess wave conditions. The anticipation builds as they eagerly await the camera feed to load, hoping to catch a glimpse of the perfect wave forming at Campus Point.
Real-Time Wave Analysis
Surf cameras enable surfers to perform real-time wave analysis, a task previously limited to experienced individuals who could gauge wave conditions solely based on their instincts and experience. With the campus point surf camera, surfers of all skill levels have access to valuable information. They can analyze wave height, swell direction, and wave shape, allowing them to make informed decisions about whether it's worth suiting up and grabbing their board.
"Surfing is all about timing, and surf cameras help us make the right call. It's like having an extra set of eyes on the waves." - Jake, a local surfer
Gathering the Right Intel
Sharpening Surfing Skills
Surf cameras serve as educational tools for surfers seeking to improve their skills. By closely observing the waves through the camera feed, surfers can study how different swells and wave patterns interact with Campus Point's unique topography. This invaluable knowledge helps surfers refine their techniques and adapt their approach to the ever-changing ocean conditions.
Surf Spot Analysis
Surfers often rely on rumors or word-of-mouth when deciding which surf spots to explore. However, with the help of surf cameras, they can gather firsthand information about specific breaks. The campus point surf camera provides clear footage that reveals the nuances of the surf spot, allowing surfers to evaluate its suitability for their preferred style of riding. Whether it's an exhilarating barrel wave or a mellow longboard wave, surf cameras bring surfers closer to their perfect wave.
"Surf cameras have given us the ability to scout surf spots without physically being there. It's like we have our own personal surf scout guiding us to the best breaks." - Emily, an avid surfer
Connecting the Surf Community
Social Surf Check
Surfing is not just an individual pursuit; it's a community-driven activity. Surf cameras foster a sense of camaraderie among surfers by providing a platform for virtual surf check-ins. Surfers no longer need to rely solely on face-to-face interactions at the beach; they can now share their excitement and discuss wave conditions with fellow surfers through online communities. This digital connection is especially valuable for those unable to make it to the beach due to work or other commitments.
Surf Session Documentation
Surf cameras also serve as a documentation tool, capturing the stoke-inducing moments experienced by surfers. With a simple click, surfers can capture screenshots of the camera feed displaying their favorite waves or epic wipeouts. These snapshots can be shared on social media platforms, creating a lasting memory of their surfing adventures and inspiring others to dive into the world of surfing.
Conclusion
The advent of surf cameras has transformed the way surfers track and analyze waves. By integrating technology into the surfing experience, surf cameras have become an essential tool for surf enthusiasts. The campus point surf camera, in particular, has revolutionized wave tracking at the University of California, Santa Barbara, offering surfers valuable insights and fostering a stronger sense of community. So, the next time you're contemplating a surf session, remember to check the campus point surf camera and let it guide you to the perfect wave. Happy surfing!

Electronic longboards are conquering the world
Electric skateboards are among the smallest electrically powered vehicles and are very trendy!
Longboards have long since conquered the cities, where they are primarily used as an effective and practical means of transportation. It doesn't matter whether it's the daily journey to work, to school, to the train or bus, to a friend's house or whether it's just a matter of cruising comfortably through the city - with a longboard you are much faster than you are foot and much more flexible than traveling with a bicycle. And more importantly, it's loads of fun too!
Due to the fact that with the normal boards your own muscle power provides the drive, the range is of course limited. This is where the so-called electric longboards come into play. They also pick up speed without the use of muscle power and thus represent another highly interesting variant of mobile locomotion without losing sight of the fun factor.
What is an electric skateboard?
In general, this sports equipment can be found under several names, such as: e-board, e-longboard, electric skateboard or e-skateboard as well as motorized skateboard. While this may seem a bit confusing at first glance, it is usually one and the same thing. Only the difference between skateboards and longboards is clearly defined here. While skateboards usually have a length of 70 to 80 cm, longboards are significantly longer at 90 - 150 cm and more.
E-longboards, which a small electric motor provides the drive without any muscle power. This type of environmentally friendly means of transport not only helps to save time, but also to cover longer distances comfortably.
Who are e-longboards suitable for?
You don't have to be a professional for electric boards - they are generally also suitable for beginners because they are relatively easy to handle and even braking can be controlled via the remote control.
They are only not suitable for children under the age of 14 and should only be used under adult supervision. After all, electric longboards are not toys, but a particularly cool and environmentally friendly form of transportation.
Conclusion
In addition to the enormous fun factor that electric longboards bring with them, the purchase can also be regarded as a generally good investment from the point of view of mobility. With such boards, even longer distances can be effortlessly covered without muscle power.
The market now offers a large selection of sophisticated e-boards, so that in principle there is something suitable for everyone. Due to the relatively high purchase price, however, sufficient research work should be carried out. Various tests, comparisons and evaluations can help to avoid bad purchases.

What falling in love in Boulder looks like…
- I’m sitting on the Willvill bus and when you get on your holding your longboard and look right at me. You come and sit down next to me and say “Mady, right?. You remember we’re neighbors.
- it’s the middle of the afternoon and everyone’s at the football game but you’re getting me high in your dorm room. It’s raining outside anyways.
- I see you standing outside my door through the peep hole, my roommate answers the door. I’m sitting there writing and you don’t want to bother me but ask if I’d be free to go to the dining hall for dinner with you.
- your roommates come into your room the next morning to see us squished together in your twin bed on the floor.
- you’re making me take videos of you blowing O’s with the mod you just spent the last half hour doing surgery on ( because apparently it needed new coils).
- I’m bored on the couch watching you make another dub in Fortnite.
- I text you and say “so when are you going to kiss me?” And you reply with a long paragraph about how you haven’t kissed anyone besides your ex girlfriend in the past 3 years.
- you kiss me for the first time. You were shaking and I was smitten.
- it’s the middle of the night and you’re telling me about your parents divorce, and I’m telling you about my crippling anxiety.
- I tell you about the elephant on my wrist and how I got it for a boy I was still not over from high school.
- it’s your birthday and you invite me to the kush castle on the hill. We’re in the kitchen and your friends are chanting “kiss kiss kiss!” And we smile and look at each other and give the people what they want.
- it’s Sunday morning and we’re hiking up the flatirons and you’re going completely too fast up the mountain.
- we’re going on a last minute drug run together to secure the bag.
- we’re crying in each other’s arms the next day because the LSD was too intense and our minds feel permanently fucked. We stick close together because only our two souls went to the place we came back from. Our energy has a new flavor, our perception of the world feels jaded.
- I’m loading a bowl for you while you’re driving us up to the ski mountain, and I bring the bong up to your mouth and light that sucker up for ya.
- we’re laughing in my room in the morning, I’m slap happy still drunk, sweating out the white powder that still burns in my nose.
- it’s the middle of the day and we’re taking a nap together. The sun is blazing on the hill. Or the snow might be falling.
- I’m constantly afraid of losing you because you’re not sure of me but I’m sure of you.
- I call you a liar because you chose the friend group over me when I decided to cut ties, and you called me a bitch and screamed at me to get out of your apartment.
-fair enough.

Some factors you should consider include the deck size, the width of the board, and the wheelbase. Another important factor is how stable the board feels when you're riding it. Look for a longboard with generous wheels and smooth bearings to keep your ride smooth and comfortable. Finally, be sure to check out the price range of different longboards before making your purchase. There are some great boards available for under $100, but there are also more expensive models that offer superior performance. Types of longboards There are a few different types of longboards, so it can be hard to know which one is best for you. If you're new to the sport, we recommend something that's easy to maneuver and transport. Here are our top picks for the best longboard for beginners: The Burton Boardie is a great option if you want an easy-to-maneuver board that's also affordable. This board measures 29 inches wide by 9 inches deep and has a deck measurement of just over 21 inches. How to choose the right longboard size When choosing the right longboard size, it's important to keep in mind your overall riding style and body size. For example, if you're a beginner and tend to ride small boards, get a smaller board. On the other hand, if you're an experienced rider and prefer a bigger board, go for a larger one. Here are our top picks for the best longboard sizes for beginners: The Mini Skateboard is great for kids and beginners who want to start out on a smaller board. It's easy to maneuver, has plenty of pop, and is perfect for short trips around your neighborhood or park. The Mini Skateboard measures 31 inches wide x 7 inches long x 4 inches tall. The Cruiser Longboard is great for intermediate riders who are looking for something bigger and more stable. It measures 38 inches wide x 8 feet long x 4 feet tall and is perfect for longer rides on the boardwalk or around town.
